Different Demons (Kaneki Ken x reader x ayato)

Reader- Chan's P.O.V

"Come on, (Y/n)," Gray says as you, as you continue to punch a punching bag, harder and harder. You were now in a makeshift gym, with Ayato and Kaneki watching Gray train you from a distance.

It had taken them an hour to get you out of bed after refusing to get up, your laziness responsible for that.

"Okay, I'm done," you admit defeat as you collapse to the floor, your hair sticking to the side of your face with sweat. You had been working with Gray for a couple of hours now, and you weren't used to working this hard.

"Really, (nickname), you used to be so much stronger," Gray announces, crouching to your level while shaking his head. You glare at him through your (long/short) (h/c) hair, "now lets try out your ghoul side," he continues, while standing up and walking away.

You sit on your knees, your eyes now wide as you stare after Gray. You hadn't activated anything ghoul for nearly 5 years! You hadn't even changed your eyes once in 6 years! You weren't even sure if you could do if anymore. Maybe the ghoul in you had vanished?

If your ghoul side was as stubborn as your human side, you were almost 100% sure that your ghoul side wouldn't be gone.... just yet.

"Well, what you waiting for, (Y/N)-chan, lets just start," you look up and see Gray, him now towering over you, making you feel small and slightly frightened.

"Just leave me alone," you mutter harshly, pushing him away while standing up. Your legs were weak but you couldn't bring yourself to directly say something about your ghoul side. So in all good situations you could handle, you did the same thing you always do. Leave.

"Hey! (Y/N)!" You hear gray call after you, but you ignore it, turning your walking into running; you bump into ghouls on your way, earning some shouts and curses. The you finally find a way back to your 'room'. It was basically just a bed and a window. Well you could barely call it a window. A piece of glass with steel bars covering it. Stopping you from reaching the outside world.

You sign and collapse onto you makeshift bed, and stare at the slightly dirty ceiling. You guessed ghouls here didn't really take care of rooms or such. To busy killing.

You furrow your eyebrows once again and turn your head to look at the window. It reminded you of a window you would find in a police cell. And it also reminded you of the word stoppable. Which reminded you of a conversation you had with Hide.

//Flashback

"Hey, (Y/N)," Hide says randomly, while looking over at the river.

Your turn your head in his direction, before turning it back to look at the enchanting river. Hide had called you about half and hour ago, telling you to meet him outside the coffee shop. As you walked out he had grabbed your hand and had taken you to a peaceful river, that was hidden in an overgrown park, that no one went to anymore.

The park was rather magical at night, (since it was now 10pm) fireflies everywhere and of course, the beautiful lake. Either of you had said anything when you had got to the wooden bridge the hung over the river.

"Hide," you replied.

"Can I ask you a question?" He suddenly asks, turning his whole body towards you. You nod your head, tilting your head slightly to get a better look at him.

He was usually was so careless, and free, but now he was serious, frowning a little, "..... what do you think of the word... stoppable?" He asks after a while, looking at the floor.

"Stoppable....," you slowly say to yourself, aware that Hide could hear though, "isn't a word," you say slightly louder, "nothing can stop you from doing anything you want, the choice is yours."

Hide was now looking at you, no longer a frown upon his face, but now a curious expression, "so, everything's unstoppable," he finishes his sentence.

You smile and nod your head.

"Unstoppable, describes everything."

//Flashback over//

"Hey, you okay?" You snap outta your daydream and look towards the door to see a certain white haired ghoul walk in.

"What do you think? How long have you been standing there anyway?" You say, the words coming out harsher than you indented.

Kaneki puts his hands up in defence and standing in the middle in the room, both of you staring at each other.

"You were daydreaming, you look happy, what were you thinking about?" He asks, in a emotionless voice, is grey eyes staring into your (e/c) eyes.

You move a couple of you hair strands away from your face a sign, going back to staring at the ceiling, "do you ever think of Hide? Or have you just totally forgotten him?" You ask him.

As soon as the words flow out of your mouth you instantly regret it, and are welcomed to a cold aura.

Silence.

"Hide?" You hear the venom coming off Kaneki's voice.

You gulp, "yeah...." you mutter, "Hide, your best friend, our best-"

"Yeah, I know who the human is, and you should speak about him anymore, he's left behind," you see kaneki turn to leave.

Anger boils inside of you. How dare he. How fucking dare he.

"HUMAN!" You bellow, standing up, stopping Kaneki stop in his path; he slowly turns to face you, "IS THAT ALL HE IS TO YOU, A HUMAN! HE WAS YOUR BEST FRIEND, OUR BEST FRIEND, HE IS NOT JUST A HUMAN!"

"AND WHAT DID YOU DO, IS HE EVEN LOOKING FOR US!"

This leaves me speechless. Kanki's entire face is red with rage, and you could see a couple of ghouls peeking in through the door, including Gray and Ayato, but you didn't care. You had never seen Kaneki this angry.

"He cared about you, about us!" You whisper angrily, shaking as you tried to contain your rage, "don't speak about him like that ever," you whisper again, "now.... get out of my room, and don't talk to me again."

Happy now! I put Hide in, though it was a bit grim.......... oh well, ill fix it! Catch ya later!
