A buzzing sound drums at my ears and my eyes inch open.

I turn to the side and reach out to the alarm clock on the stand.

Snap. The buzzing stops.

I flop back down on my bed.

It's cold. Without the covers. I snuggle into my pillows and let loose a sigh.

7:00 am. Saturday morning.

With no school activities, today is a free day.

I normally stay at home and just do whatever.

Read, write, draw, game, something.

But today. Not today.

I open my eyes and throw my glance over to the lamp stand.

And lay eyes upon my phone.
