Julie could barely keep her eyes open as she sat at her desk that stood next to the glass classroom window, bathing in the warm light of the sun.

Math was her worse subject and therefor she always found herself falling asleep when it came to such studies and classes, and yet today was different. Today her mind was too filled with the events that had taken place earlier today.

That mysterious stranger who talked about fairies and other fantasy creatures, as well as her friend Trevor, who was suffering from head aching pain that seemed so sever that it frightened her.

Trevor sat in the front row of desks and Julie herself sat in the far back, therefor she could see it all to well. She could see Trevor sweating with discomfort, as if he was fighting a super strong opponent and he was losing.

"Singing?" Julie said as she thought about Trevor's last words. "Why would he hear singing?" Julie felt strange uttering such words. She couldn't help but think that maybe her friend was suffering from something worse than a headache, maybe just maybe it was a tumor. ["No I shouldn't think such things. Trevor's fine..."] Julie thought trying to calm her mind.

"RING, RING, RING!"

"RING, RING, RING!"

The school bell echoed through the classroom, causing almost all of the students to smile and begin to pack their belongings.

"Remember everyone I expect your homework's to be turned in on Monday, I will not be excepting any late work..." Professor Hendrickson said as he watched his students run out of his classroom with such joy that one would think that they had won the lottery.

Julie with great hast began to pack her things

Julie with great hast began to pack her things. She threw her backpack over her shoulders and looked towards the front of the almost empty classroom, where she expected to see Trevor patiently waiting for her. Gloom and disappointment soon overtook her as she realized that she and two other students where the only ones In the classroom, Trevor was no where to be seen.

"What the hell?" Julie asked as she balled her fist, ready to fight. "That bastard had the nerve to leave me!" Julie yelled out forgetting where she was. "I hope he's ready for the biggest ass kicking of his life!"

"Julie!"

"Huh?" Julie looked in confusion as her name was uttered in such furry. ["Oh crap."] Julie thought as she saw her math teacher glaring at her with eyes that told her one thing. ["Im in trouble.]

Julie stared in annoyance at a pink slip that she held tightly, with every desire to want to rip the small piece of paper into a thousand pieces. She would've done it, if such things where allowed, but no such things were allowed.

"Detention! I actually got detention!" Julie yelled out not caring how loud she was being as so late at night. "That bastard, I see he has forgotten just how scary I can be when I'm pissed off." Julie said with a begrudging smile as she laid down in her bed.

"Somethings wrong... I can just fill it."

Julie's body grew heavy as the weight of exhaustion grew ever heavier with every passing second. She didn't want to fall asleep, for she knew as soon as her eyes closed, as soon as her eyes refused to open, a whole world of nightmares would be open to her and only torment would follow.

She knew that it was a losing battle, the sandman would not be denied, and as the urge to sleep became stronger, Julie heard the rhythmic vibrations of her phone which seemed to energize her body ever so slightly.

Picking up her phone she looked to see who exactly was calling her so late at night. "Ms. Sanchez?" Julie said in confusion as Trevor's moms name popped up on the screen of her phone.

She didn't know why but she felt a sense of foreboding coming from this one phone call.

"Hello?" Julie asked answering the phone.

"Julie I'm so sorry to bother you so late at night." Ms. Sanchez said with a polite and yet hurried tone.

"That's ok Ms. Sanchez I'm always happy to hear from you."

"Yes thank you dear... I was just calling because I wanted to know if Trevor was over their at your house?" Ms. Sanchez asked.

Julie could hear the fear and panic in Ms. Sanchez's voice, and she almost didn't want to speak, for she had nothing good to say.

"Sorry Ms. Sanchez but he's not here." Julie noticed how the phone went silent. "Trevor left without me today from school, he didn't even say goodbye, I figured he wasn't feeling good." Julie explained.

"I see." Ms. Sanchez said in a low voice.

Julie began to sweat with worry. "He said that he was experiencing sever headaches, and he seemed in a lot of pain today in school."

"Yes I know about the headaches, they have been going in for a few days now, but the headaches are not the only things that I'm worried about." Ms. Sanchez said.

Julie's hands seemed to tighten around the phone. "What do you mean."

"Julie... I think that something might be wrong with my son."

The darkness seemed to spread all throughout the alleyways that held the secrets of the night. It was here in these dark passage ways filled with trash, that he stood crouched down pulling out his hair with inflamed moans as with foam fell from his mouth.

Trevor could hear it echoing from deep within his minds, a mellowing tune of beautiful music filled with sounds never before heard, sounds that seemed to call out to him, and yet he resisted.

"W-what is this?" Trevor asked as he gasped harder and harder as if he were being drowned.

It was then that he heard a tingling like small chimes or small bells, echoing from above and as he looked up he saw it floating in the midnight air.

He couldn't describe it any type of rationality, for it had no place in a rational world. Floating above his head was a small little person almost the size of his hand. It's skin was pure grey, as if it was devoid of life and had never bathed in an inch of sunlight. With its pure white eyes looked down Trevor, who wondered how was this little creature hovering in midair it was then Trevor squinted and saw the beating of clear see through wings that blended in almost perfectly with night sky.

The little creature looked down with a large smile that revealed purely white teeth.
