Julie not once in her life believed in monsters even though She had seen them everyday hiding in dark corners, and flying high in the sky, and even resting the shoulders and backs of people. These strange creatures that glowed with light seemed only to be visible to her and never sought to hurt anyone like a real monster would. That all changed today, the change came with the transformation of her best friend, into a horrid monster that once only existed in her dreams.
He who was drenched in the blood of men, who's flesh seemed to break apart and reform constantly, who's teeth which where as sharp as needles, stared on with hatred towards the white haired boy who stood in front of her, the white haired boy who's fist where ablaze with blue fire.
"You hate your father? I don't blame you." Trevor said his horrid smile growing bigger and wider. "Tales of his wonders and power is sung even in the lowest halls of the spiritual world."
Julie watched as Tora's eyes grew wider, she could see how he shook with an ever increasing rage.
"I told you... Don't talk about him!" Tora yelled out, his eyes glowing with burning blue fire.
"Very well then. Come hateful one, come with your burning lotus fire, come and know that I will not die, not by your hands."
Tora's smile returned as the fire that shrouded his hands grew stronger, burdening the air and ground under neath his feet. Julie backed away as a huge blast of heat singed her skin.
"You think so?" Tora laughed. "Well then, you are going to be in for a huge surprise."
Tora ran forward, his body becoming a blur in the wind. It took only a second for Tora to arrive in front of Trevor and when he did he let loose a barrage of punches covered in fire.
Julie could feel tears appearing from her eyes as she watched Trevor go on the defense, she watched as his skin burned from the blue flames, she could see the pain in his eyes as his skin was chard black. She heard his inhuman Screams as he sought to get away from the burning fire and soon Trevor with one knee on the ground looked up at Tora whose fists were still ablaze with blue fire.
Trevor's white eyes fell on Julie. "Julie help me!" He said in pain and Panic as his body suffered from third-degree burns.
"Stop it!" Julie yelled as she without hesitation ran in between Tora and Trevor. She stared down the boy who she believed had assaulted her friend. She gritted her teeth, her tears flowed endlessly as anger gripped her soul. "Go no further!"
Tora Lowered his hands as he looked at Julie. His eyes for a brief moment lost their ferocity. Julie forever more would remember the look in his eyes, it was the kind of look that told her that he already knew how the story would end for he had done it so many times before.
"Move."
"No! There has to be another way!"
" I said move."
" I will not!" Julie yelled out not giving an inch. "You have to help him, save him please."
Julie let out a surprise gasp as a steel hard hand wrapped around her throat pulling her back.
Trevor giggled and soon laughed as he held tightly to Julie's neck, his very fingers had morphed into rigid claws capable of ripping out her throat.
"Oh yes save me oh hero, Save me if you can." Trevor mockingly said.
"Let her go!"
"Poor Julie, foolish to a fault." Trevor laughed out loud as his grip tightened around Julie's neck. "You wanna help me, save my soul? How laughable... don't you see that the only way this ends is by blood."
Julie yelled out in denial as she was told words she did not wish to hear. "No I won't listen to this, Trevor please come back to me, this isn't you."
Trevor continue to smile revealing his sharp needle like teeth. "This body is mine. Nothing will change that. Tell me child do you know what the best part is?" Trevor whisper as he brought his mouth closer to Julie's ear. " The best part is, that this is all your fault."
At that moment Julie seemed to lose all her strength. Her arms went limp in her eyes were filled with shock. "What are you talking about?" Julie asked us she slightly turned her head to look into Trevor's milky white eyes.
"Do you still not get it, do you still not know who and what you are? Trevor mocked with a small laugh. "Better you die foolish and unaware of what you are, of what you would become."
Trevor smile grew wider as he prepared to tear and rip out the throat in his grasp. Julie did not fight back as she felt steel hard clause piercing her flesh. she was left wondering only one thing was she going to die.
Blue flames are erupted from the ground and like a snake wrapped around Julie's body not touching her flesh or the fabric of her clothes. Trevor yelled out and panic in pain as he jumped away from Julie's body which was protected by the fire.
Julie devoid of strength fell to the ground tears Streaked down her cheek as she refused to look up at her friend instead her eyes were focused on the blood covered ground.
Tora walked up and stood next to Julie. he saw the blood dripping from her neck, The sadness and the shivering. "Are you OK?" He asked even though he already knew the answer.
"Was he telling the truth?" Julie whispered.
"What?"
"Was he telling the truth, My friend being taken over, all these people being killed, was it all my fault?"
Tora wanted to lie telling the truth seem to be the more cruel and annoying option but deep down he knew that it wouldn't matter in the end.
"Yes, yes it is."
