Julie could hardly move as her very dreams, her nightmares became reality. Standing in the midst of carnage and destruction, streets painted in blood and severed lifeless flesh, she stomached the dark reality that took the form of her best friend. The same friend that bore the same pale white eyes that had frightened her ever since she was a child.
Trevor took a step towards Julie, his smile never wavering. The closer he came the more and more details became clear to her, like the small traces of white that appeared in his hair, or the glistening of his skin as if it where made out of pure diamonds or the blood that dripped from his jagged claws, staining the ground beneath him as he approached her with each calculated step.
Every instinct screamed at Julie to run, to escape from the nightmare that had enveloped her reality. But she couldn't bring herself to move, her feet rooted to the spot as fear paralyzed her. She desperately searched her mind, trying to make sense of the terrifying transformation that had overtaken her friend.
As Trevor drew nearer, his crooked smile widened, revealing rows of needle-like teeth that glinted ominously in the dim light. The stench of gore and decay filled the air, assaulting Julie's senses and threatening to overwhelm her fragile composure.
"Julie," Trevor hissed, his face partially hidden in the shadows.
Summoning every ounce of courage she could muster, Julie managed to find her voice, though it trembled with fear.
"What are you?" Julie asked with sweat falling from her brow.
"What am I?" Trevor asked with a look of innocents and naïvety. "What? Don't you recognize your friend?"
Julie balled her fist and shook her head in denial. Her eyes began to fill with tears. "Don't you dare? Trevor he would never do the things you have done!" Julie's mind was crammed full of memories of Trevor, his kindness, his generosity towards other... "Trevor would have never killed anyone you hear me!"
"But I did... I did kill." Trevor said with a grin of satisfaction and accomplishment. "I did murder all of these people." Trevor continued to walk closer to Julie and soon a small grin turned into a wide inhuman smile filled with sharp needle like teeth. "And by the time I am done..." Trevor reached out his hand, his hand covered in dark veins and long sharp nails. His fingers wrapped around Julie's chin, bringing her face ever closer to his. "I will have killed you too."
She wanted to scream, she wanted to run away, but those white eyes seemed to sap all of her strength. His breath smelled rotten and foul as it entered into her nostrils, his fingers felt ice cold as they held tightly to her face. It was almost as if the very thing that was holding onto her was a dead body instead of a living one.
Trevor's smile soon disappeared as he opened his mouth as wide as humanly possible, giving Julie a close up of a maw filled with sharp teeth, and yet to Julie's surprise Trevor's mouth continued to expand.
Julie watched as flesh morphed and transformed, she watched in horror as Trevor's cheeks tore like thin pieces of paper and his mouth widened to such an impossible length that it seemed that he could swallow a whole human body and to her terror she found her head being forced inside the gigantic maw.
Her heart pounded in her chest, the adrenaline coursing through her veins as she fought against the inevitable. Panic gripped her, threatening to consume her as she desperately clawed at Trevor's face, trying to free herself from his horrifying grasp.
But Trevor's strength was inexorable, his grip unyielding. Julie felt her head inch closer and closer to his gaping maw, the stench of decay and blood overwhelming her senses. The terror in her eyes reflected the harsh reality that this could be the end, that her life would be extinguished within the monstrous jaws of her once dear friend.
She began to tremble as her death became more and more evident.
"Don't do it..." she whispered quietly. "Don't do it!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs with her eyes closed as she tried to pull her face away from Trevor's grasp and yet all was for not, for his grip was iron tight.
"CLACK!"
Julie slowly opened her eyes as she heard what almost sounded like two metal swords banging against each other. Her eardrums where ringing from the deafening sound, but such an annoyance mattered very little to her, for right before her eyes was the same monstrous mouth that had frightened her, only that huge jaw was being held down by a single hands.
Julie who's face was finally free of Trevor's unbreakable grip fell to the ground and looked up at her savior, her savior who wore a dirty grey shirt and ripped black pants, and who's white hair shined in the moonlight. This stranger held down Trevor's mouth and smiled as if he had found the funniest game that had ever existed.
She knew this boy, she had seen him before on her way to school. "Your that Fairy guy."
The boy lost his smile as he turned his gaze towards Julie. "Excuse me Fairy guy." He said, irritated.
"Uh sorry I don't know your name."
The white haired boy smirked. "The names Tora, you remember that name girl." The boy said with cockiness.
"LET GO!!!" Trevor yelled out, his mouth breaking free from Tora's grip.
Tora backed away quickly from the inhuman teen. He stood next to Julie who finally had found the strength to stand.
Julie watched as Trevor's mouth morphed back into place, his skin stitched itself back together and with the cracking of bones, his jaw bounced back into place. Soon Trevor looked completely like any other ordinary human, and yet Julie new better.
Trevor stared daggers at both her and the boy named Tora, and soon she just had to ask.
"What the hell happened to him?" She asked looking at Tora.
Tora smirked as he massaged his wrists. "A Fairy happened."
