He sat down on the wooden bench, looking down at the ground as his white hair cascaded down his face. His light blue eyes seemed to tell a story, a long hard story that needed to be said carefully, and as gently as possible and yet Julie could tell just by looking at Tora, that he wasn't use to telling this tale.
"Look I'm going to try to explain this as best as I can." Tora said breathing hard. "We usually have professionals that handle this kind of thing, but we have no time for that, so listen carefully."
Julie hated Toras condescending tone. She never like being talked to as if she where a child that knew absolutely nothing, but for the time being she begrudgingly put her feelings of pride aside, for she truly knew nothing about the situation.
"Look the truth of it all is pretty simple, and yet complicated." Tora said as he looked up at the sky, the moon casting a silvery glow on his contemplative expression. After a moment of reflection, he turned back to Julie with a determined glint in his eyes.
Julie rolled her eyes. ["Yea that make sense.] she thought.
"The world that you see right here, right now, is the the mortal world. The realm where humans reside."
Julie said nothing at first, her mind racing as she contemplated Tora's words and the implications they held. After a moment, she finally spoke, her voice filled with uncertainty.
"The mortal world?" Julie repeated, her tone questioning.
"But their is another world." Tora continued with a small smile to Julie's surprise. A world filled with light, magic even..."
Julie watched as Tora seemed to grow more and more excited with each word that left his lips. It was almost as if he where talking about the most fantastic thing in the world. It almost made her jealous that he was able to have such a memory.
"That place is called Assiah the realm of light and purity."
