Do You Have the Time

A/N: Priestess Ina is Ina'nis; Human Ina is just Ina. Names are changed to avoid confusion (hopefully)

"Who are you...?" Gura and Ina stood over who they thought had been a stalker. It would've been so much simpler if they had. Instead, they were looking at a nearly identical copy of Ina.

Ina'nis blinked rapidly while laying on the ground. Slowly and carefully, she propped herself up on her elbows and looked up at the other girls.

"My name is Ninomae Ina'nis and I'm not from around here." She let the other two put the pieces together in silence. Their facial expressions changed from confusion to surprise. They understood.

"You're from another timeline. A different version of me," Ina thought out loud once she figured it out. She pointed towards herself and then back at Ina'nis.

"How do you know Ame?" Gura pressed the question again.

"It's been three years since she vanished, right?" The other girls nodded. Ina'nis moved up into a sitting position on the ground.

"No one else remembers it. Honestly, how can you just forget the entire timeline falling apart?" Gura expressed her displeasure about the event. Ina put a hand on her shoulder, calming her down.

"It was the timeline correcting itself. Only Gura and I remember what happened that day. The day Amelia sacrificed herself to save us." Ina tried to prevent her own emotions from overwhelming her. Ina'nis sighed.

"First off, Ame is alive and well." Just those words were enough to set Ina and Gura at ease. They both sighed heavily, leaning backwards as they did so. Ina'nis continued after a moment, "From her explanation of the story, she was sent to my timeline that day and has been living there ever since. She wants to come back here as soon as possible. If only I had known that she could." Ina'nis brought the time watch out and turned it over in her hand. The Ancient Ones reminded her that it still had a couple days until it was fully charged.

"Well, I'm glad to hear that she's doing well," Ina said. Gura nodded.

"Same here, but what do you mean if only you'd known?" she asked. Ina'nis held the time watch up for them to see.

"We were finally able to repair her time watch, but I used it before she could. If she used it instead of me, she would have been sent here." Gura suddenly took a large step back. Her eyes were wide and frantic. She was panicking.

"I-It's not going to happen again right?!!" she asked very loudly. Ina patted her on the back, trying to get her to calm down again. Ina'nis took this opportunity to stand.

"No it won't," she stated, making Gura immediately drop her hands onto her knees and take a few deep breaths. "I can produce enough energy to stop the Destabilization from occurring. However, it is going to take a few days until I can leave."

"What do you mean, 'produce energy'?" Ina asked with a slight head tilt. Ina'nis opened her mouth to answer, but quickly closed it.

These two probably didn't have the best opinion on Priestess' if Amelia was anything to go off of. She could really use some friends while she was stuck here, so it would be best to hide it for now.

"That's not really important..." Ina'nis couldn't come up with a good lie to tell, so she deflected the question instead. Gura eye'd her with suspicion, but Ina seemed to drop it.

"So you're stuck here?" Ina asked, kindly.

"For the next few days, yes," she replied. Ina looked up at the sky for a second before fixing her gaze back on to Ina'nis.

"Let's go back to my place," she offered, prompting Gura to look at her like she was crazy.

"Huh? We don't even know if what she's saying is true. She could end up destroying everything again!" Gura's frustration was palpable. She hated the thought of messing with time ever since that incident three years ago. It terrified her to think that all of them were just moments away from complete annihilation because of one rash decision.
