'How do you think she's gonna react?' Jack asks soph as they both watch Bennett sleep in his Moses from the sofa

Soph screws her face in thought 'I'm not sure, she was kind of too young to understand the whole growing a baby thing. I don't think she'll understand that he's her brother'

'I think she'll surprise ya yknow. Av been watching TikToks of siblings reacting to a new baby and that an they were mostly good' he shrugs his shoulders before looking back at Soph

'Mostly?' She asks quizzically raising an eyebrow

Jack laughs in response 'yeah but there was this one kid that just had a full melt down.' He watches sophs facial expressions 'and then there were loads saying that the 2nd child just don't give a shit, and they're all face planting down slides and doing wild stuff'

Sophs laughing at him. She remembers most of her client conversations in the salon before maternity. The majority of them said no two babies are the same and she felt it was going to be true.

She'd struggled more the last two nights with Bennett then she ever did with mae. Her milk still hadn't come in so she new he must just be hungry, but it also crossed her mind he might just be the type of child that just never settles. She touched her breasts at the thought of her milk, they were so tender but still equally squishy.

Ada arrived with mae shortly after and her reaction was like nothing Soph ever imagined. She pressed her face into his tummy for a cuddle as Soph held him on her lap, it was like they became instant best friends.

Soph cried accordingly making jack and Ada giggle as they handed her tissues. It was perfect, the first time in a long time she felt that happy bubble surround them. Jack held her hand tight like he could read her thoughts.

They gave Ada the birth story, how sophs water broke in the nursery and how she almost gave birth in the hallway. Ada was equally shocked that the labour was so fast and also praised jack for managing to even get her to a hospital.

Mae had cuddled into jack and fell asleep as they discussed him going back to training and worked out a new schedule. Soph had decided to take her full maternity this time so she can enjoy the mum side of things a little bit more but they still would like Ada to stay on with them if she wishes.

They sat around the fire catching up in the front room after putting the kids to bed, Ada expressing how happy she was that they were going to try and make things work. Jack had ordered them all a Nando's on an attempt to keep his eating on track but it was polished off with a share bag of maltesers

'I don't know where you put it' Ada remarks at him as she watches him stuff his face

'Hollow legs innit' he says flinging his legs up in the air causing Soph to laugh out loud shaking her head

'no wonder your never full!' She exclaims

Soph woke up the next morning feeling sore. She stands up from the bed her chest heavy, she squeals with delight, jack quick to run into her room to make sure everythings okay.

'Ya alright bab, why ya screaming?' He looks at her as tears roll down her cheeks

She nods at him as she wipes her tears away 'my milks come in' She sobs uncontrollably, she didn't even know where the tears were coming from, she was just excited to finally give Bennett a good feed.

Jacks eyes are fixated on her breasts. They were swollen, in a rock solid vein popping way. 'Fuck me Soph' he goes to touch them but Soph bats his hand away

'Don't even try it, they so sore' she says laying her breast pump out on the bed ready for some relief as Bennett's still sleeping.

Jack cocks his head to the side still fixated on them 'yeah they look it .. ya sure I can't touch em' he flashes her a cheeky grin

'God you're such a boob man!' He winks at her in agreement. Soph rolls her eyes as she switches her pump on.

The next few weeks were a whirl wind of people visiting, matches and moving home. Jacks winter break was over in a flash and Mae had finally took her first steps in the new house making him re-evaluate his baby proofing. Soph had also finally made the decision to sell her own house and live with jack permanently.

It was a decision that just seemed right. As much as they'd tried to take building their relationship slow, they were just magnetised to one another. They'd spent a few night discussing it before Soph finally told him she couldn't back and forth between houses anymore. He was over joyed, almost squeezing her a little to hard with excitement.

'Jack ya gonna make my tits burst if you squeeze me any harder' she joked as he release her from his arms holding her face

'Ya not joking are ya?' He asks and she shook her head in reply. He holds her head close to his chest as he breaths in the scent of her hair 'it's all I've wanted to hear bab'

1 year later

'Are ya ready for tomorrow?' Jack asks as his arms wrapped around Sophs shoulder. The suns setting across the beach as they watch the kids play in the sand.

She tilts her head resting it on his shoulder. 'I've never been more ready my entire life' she smiles as she watches Bennett standing in the sand wobbling as he try's to shift his weight from one leg to the other

'He's gonna be off soon yknow! No stopping him' he says as he watches mae closely kicking a small football around 'can you kick it to daddy mae?'

Sophs heart flutters as she hears the words exit his mouth.

'Right you two love birds! It's time to say your good nights!' Jo shouts from behind them, Johns stood next to her protectively as his hand rests on her bump.

'Alright alright!' Jack shouts before he turns back looking Soph in the eyes 'well this is it! The last night as miss Sophie Ellis!' He beams the most infectious smile at her and she feels her lips curl up instantly

'You better make the last single girl kiss a good one!' She says as his lips are quick to touch hers kissing her deeply as his hands roam down her back.

The wedding party all cheer from the terrace as they watch them.

'Right jacky lad it's time to get you back to your room' John says unconvincingly as he places a tiara on jacks head.

Adas brought the kids over to join them as mae holds sophs hand 'daddy wincess' she says pointing to the tiara sending everyone into fits of giggles.

He kisses the kids goodnight before drawing Soph back into him for one last kiss 'I'll see you in the morning yeah?' But he knows he doesn't need to ask.

Soph straightens his tiara 'you'll be waiting for me?'

His lips press against her for one final kiss causing more cheering and wolf whistles from the balcony, 'always!' His lips whisper against hers.
