When Haley finally convinced the girl Kaydi to let go of me I looked over at Percy. He was still arguing about something. I felt my stomach churn with every moment I looked at that girl. Annabeth. That's what he called her. I looked away and turned to Haley who was discussing a plan with Kayla and Kaydi. When the plan was almost flawless, it was time to act. Kayla and I moved silently towards Annabeth's left side, and Haley and Kaydi were on her right side. I looked at Kaydi to give her the signal. She pulled out her dagger and was about to attack when Annabeth lashed out and hit Kaydi and Percy at the same time. I completely forgot the plan and lunged forward ti try and reach Percy. Annabeth had tried to hit me but I got out of the way to quickly and it hit Kayla instead. Next thing I know Haley and I were back to back, daggers out in front, ready for the worst to come.
