I jumped in front Nico as soon as I heard shot fired. I couldn't lose Nico again, not after everything we did to get here. I fell to the ground as pain shot through my body. I heard Nico call my name and I saw the blurry shapes of my friends crowding around me. I heard them talking but I couldn't quite get what they were saying. About 10 minutes later I was in the infirmary on the Argo 2. I wanted all this pain to stop. To just close my eyes and let everything fade away. I heard Amy and Emily crying and I felt horrible for making them feel that way over me. They keep saying this I need to stay awake. The pain is too great and everything goes black.
Amy's POV
Haley's eyes close and I check her pulse, it's starting to slow down and Leo said that we need to get her to camp as soon as possible before she loses too much blood. I choke back a sob and lean into Percy's chest.
Kaydi's POV
We reached camp about half an hour after Haley was shot. They loaded her off the Argo and into the infirmary and was plugged up to all these different machines. Will Solace was the doctor that was a signed to Haley for the time being. We all left her room for the night and went back to our cabins. I was likely to go and sleep in the Zeus Cabin with Kayla. When I made it to the cabin Kayla was already asleep and I laid down on the bed next to hers. I was likely not to get any sleep tonight.
