Maria and I were still tied up in chairs when we heard the big loud noises. I snapped my head up in the direction and looked over at Maria. The people in the black trench coats come every day at different times they come for the beatings. The last one was last night and Maria had taken it the hardest. They injected some poison into her system that have her visions, it started to wear off a little while earlier before the noises.
The door opened with a loud CRACK and Haley, Percy and Leo come into the room. Haley and Leo runs towards us and Leo pulls out a pocket knife and starts to cut the ropes until he is picking Maria up bridal style, while is Haley is saying soothing words and stroking my hand but I can't understand her because the blood is rushing to my head because of the ropes. Haley finishes cutting my ropes and Percy comes over and puts my arm over his shoulder and the other around Haley's waist. We make our way to the door but then the door slams shut with a SLAM.
"Well well well looks who decided to join the party"
The voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Behind us something land on the floor with a thud. We all turn around and see six men in black trench coats, one waking to the center and I instantly remember who he is: the man that took me and Maria away from our friends. Leo lays down Maria to the side out of harms way, Haley and Percy do same with me and put me to the side. Haley, Percy and Leo line up in a line weapons ready. Leo with his tool belt, Percy with riptide and Haley with her bronze dagger. The men in black take out there weapons but before they can do anything five people drop onto the five in the back. Jason, Emily, Amy, Kaydi and Kayla stand up and face is. The man behind Kaydi groans and she kicks him in the face. Jason steps forward.
" sorry we got lost, but I guess we got here just in time. " he says with a smirk
Percy turns to the last standing man: " Well my guess is that you don't want to go against eight trained demigods?"
He said nothing , all he did was pull out a gun from his black coat and pointed it at me and shot it. I waited for the pain to shoot through my body but it never came. All I see is Haley's limp body on the ground in front of me and a pile of blood pooling around her.
