22- Checker Game

Boboiboy had look both of his side, seeing Gopal was on left side and Y/n on his right, making him quickly reached out towards the girl and attempting to wake her up after noticing she still has a distressed look.

"Y/n!! Y/n wake up!!" Boboiboy yelled, shaking the said girl with one arm. "W-Wha?.... Huh?" The telekinesis manipulator mumbled as her eyes were slowly starts to flutter open.

"Y/n!!" Boboiboy called out once more, this made the said girl quickly shook her head and instantly scanning the area. "Eh!? Where am i!?"

"I'll explain later!!" Boboiboy reassured, all they're attention where back to the giant sleep monster when they heard the creature laugh. "Why is it that we are also the pieces!?" Adudu groaned, trying to struggle himself for freedom yet he was still stuck in place. "What a shame, what a shame..."

"Oh no... Now what.... I never played checkers before..." Papa Zola whispered towards the kids, making Boboiboy look at the giant man in disbelief. "Huh!? What do you mean never?!" The elemental manipulator quickly turned towards his friend Gopal. "Then why did you challenge him on playing this game!?"

"U-Uhh..." Gopal trailed off, snapping his attention towards Y/n after a brilliant idea had came into his mind. "Your awake! Okay now we need your help!"

"M-My help?" The girl asked, she started to inspect her surroundings before fully understanding, her attention was instantly directed towards the game board she was standing on. "Board games?"

"Yes!! You and Ato played this before right?!" Gopal questioned, looking at Y/n with full of hope.

"Uhh...." The girl was a bit timid, looking between her friends and the game board.

"Enough!! Let the games begin!" The sleeping monster announced as Papa Zola had cracked his knuckled, readying himself for the game. "Very well!!" The giant man looked around the the pieces before grabbing—

"Oi!!"

"Eh? Why did you move me?" Probe asked, looking at the giant man in confusion. "Hey hey!! That's my piece!" The sleeping monster told to his enemy, making Papa Zola quickly put Probe down. "Huh!? What do you mean?"

"What a shame, what a shame.."

"Hmm... Papa Zola" Y/n called out, making the said man looked down at the telekinesis manipulator. "Yes my disciple!"

"Uhh.... The blacks pieces are the sleeping monster's pieces and the brown ones are yours" The girl explained, making Papa Zola nod— giving her a signal that he comprehend. "So you know about this game?" Boboiboy asked.

"Yeah, i do. Since that's what me and Ojichan do if we have a spare time, we play. It kinda involves math on it" Y/n added, looking up at Papa Zola.

"Y/n! How about you tell Papa Zola what to do while he moves us!" Gopal suggested.

"I mean... That could work..." Y/n mumbled before finally agreeing to it. "Fine! Who's gonna move first?" The girl asked, looking up at the sleeping monster, seeing the creature laugh.

"Fine, then i will be the first one since someone is dumb enough to understand" The sleeping monster said, what the creature said made Papa Zola feel offended as he protest. "Hey!"

"Papa Zola! Cooperate with me okay?" Y/n turned to the giant man, hearing him murmuring something. "Hmm... Fine.. Just because it's only to save everyone!"
