Cécile's P.O.V.

When I woke up the next morning, I put on a pair of jean shorts, a tank top with a lacy long sleeved top, and my black flats. I put my Hufflepuff robe over top.

I brushed my hair, and put it into a side braid and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my book from my bedside table quickly, and went down to breakfast.

We were allowed to wear normal clothes today, because classes don't start until Wednesday. I put my robe on anyways, just so I could show support for my house. I still really need to do something about this ugly yellow color...

I seen Brad sitting at the end of the table, and went and sat beside him. "Hey," I greeted him, smiling.

"Morning," he said back. I looked down the table to find something to eat for breakfast.

Usually, I don't eat breakfast, but they made this huge feast, so why not appreciate it? I seen English muffins further down the table. Yes!

"Pass me those please," I said to Brad, gesturing to the plate. He passed me the dish, and smiled at me.

I made sure there was cheese, ketchup, and ham on it, and started eating. I loved these things, they're delicious.

"So, is this like our spot now?" I asked him after swallowing.

"Yeah, I guess it is," he said laughing. I laughed with him and he grabbed some pancakes. I passed him the syrup and he thanked me.

"So, what are we gonna do today?" I asked him, after swallowing another bite of food.

"Hmm..." he said thoughtfully, "we could go on a tour of the castle."

"That's a really good idea," I told him, "that way I won't be wandering around tomorrow, getting lost like all the first years."

He laughed at me and agreed. After we both finished, I grabbed my book and he led me outside.

We walked around for a while and he showed me the black lake. Apparently there was a giant squid in there. "Is he friendly?" I asked him.

"I don't know," he said, "I've never tried to meet him."

"Well I am going to do that before the end of the year," I said to him, making it my goal.

He laughed at me. "Ok, you do that."
"I will," I said sassily.

"So, do you wanna see everything in the castle then?" He asked me. I nodded at him. It would make more sense to tour around the inside of the school where most of my classes are.

He showed me all the main classrooms for fifth years, which hopefully includes all my classes. He also showed me where all the washrooms are, which is really nice of him, considering he's a guy.

"We should go back outside," I suggested to him. He agreed and we went back outside. We found a big tree, and sat underneath it, just chatting for a while.

"We should play twenty questions," I said to him.

"Yeah, ok," he agreed.
"But I play it differently."
"What do you mean?"

"Well, I always just found it pointless, because one person answered the question and then the other person would ask the same one. So, in my version, one person asks a question, and everyone answers it.

"Oh, wow. That actually makes more sense than the original." He said to me.

"I thought so. So do you wanna ask the first question?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure," he said, but then he got an idea. "Hang on a second." I looked at him curiously. What was he doing?

He pulled out a strange looking coin. It was purple and had words written all around the outside of it. He held it up to his face and blew on it.
