Cécile's P.O.V.
I was in the sitting room watching a movie, when Lana walked in. "Hey, I made lunch. Are you hungry?"
"What did you make?" I wasn't really hungry, but if it was something I liked, I'd probably eat. I probably should anyways, considering I didn't eat breakfast.
"Pizza. Pepperoni," she answered. Yay, pizza!
"Yeah, sure I'll have some. It sounds delicious," I said to her. I do love pizza. Except the cheese kind. It always has too much cheese and then gets really greasy and tastes weird. I also love cheese, but too much is a thing. Well, when it's on or in something. You can never have enough cheese just on its own.
I paused my movie, and followed her to the kitchen. As soon as we walked through the doorway, the pizza smell immediately hit me. I inhaled deeply, hurrying over to the table after quickly grabbing a plate. I took the biggest slice there, and put it on my plate. "Lana, can I have some milk?" I asked her.
"Yes, Cécile. I have told you so many times, you don't need to ask. What's in this house is yours as well as mine," She said, slightly exasperated. It wasn't like it was my fault. It had become a habit now, to ask for everything before taking, and expecting no as an answer. I just smiled at her, and went to grab a glass, pouring the milk before sitting back down.
I ate my pizza in a content silence, occasionally taking sips of my milk. When I finished, I said thank you, putting my plate and cup in the dishwasher and going back to the sitting room. I played the movie to watch the end of it before ejecting the disc and putting it back on the shelf. I scanned the other DVDs on the shelf, seeing a collection of Disney movies at the end. I immediately moved to the end of the shelf, looking at the options I had. Aladdin, The Lion King, The Lion King 1 1/2, Lion King 2, Mulan 1 and 2, both Pocahontas movies, Cinderella, and Lilo and Stitch.
I chose Aladdin, my favourite, and put it in, curling back up on the love seat. "A dazzling place I never knew. But when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear," my singing was interrupted when Lana walked back in.
"Here," She said, chuckling, "this letter came for you a couple minutes ago." She handed me the letter in her hand and walked back out of the room. I paused the movie, after the song finished obviously, and opened the letter carefully. I was never one to really just rip into it, I like to keep the envelope intact so I could put the letters back. I liked to keep them for some reason. It wasn't like I got a lot of them anyways.
Cécile,
Hi it's Ron. I was wundering if you wanted to come to the Quiclditcr world cup with my fannily this week. We will piclc you up at 9:00pm in to days. Bye.I read it over again, what? His spelling was terrible, and might as well have been in another language for as understandable as his writing was. I grabbed a pen, and quickly wrote a letter back.
Ron,
What?? I understood about five words out of that whole thing. Your spelling and handwriting are absolutely awful. And the world cup of what?? I love you, I really do, but please get Hermione to write a reply or something :P.Love you,
CécileI folded the letter hot dog style, and put it in an envelope conveniently lying on top of an also conveniently placed box of other envelopes. I tucked the flap into the envelope, and went to find an owl, only to realize that Lana was a muggle, and muggles don't own owls. Shoot. Wait, how would Lana have gotten the letter from Ron then?
I sighed, and left my movie to go search for some sort of way to deliver the letter. I skipped searching the house, knowing I wouldn't find anything there. I checked the front yard before the backyard, because the back was bigger. There was nothing there. I moved to the backyard, searching and finding nothing. I turned and went back inside, but heard a rustle behind me when I got to the door. I whipped around quickly, scanning the yard, paying close attention to shadowy areas. I seen nothing until I went to turn to go inside and movement to the left caught my eye.
