*****VIRGINIAS POV*****

Harry just asked me to be his girlfriend. He just asked me to be his girlfriend and my mind blanked. I didn't even think he really liked me that much. Well, now I was just cuddled in his arms, completely silent. What should I do? I mean,I like him. A lot, but I have to stick with my plan. I don't even know. You know what, why not take a chance.

"I would love to be your girlfriend, Harry."

  *****HARRYS POV*****

"I would love to be your girlfriend, Harry." I heard her say as I took a long sigh of relief.

"You have no idea how nervous I was about that." I admitted.

I can't believe she said yes! I'm so happy. "So, are you ready for the next part of our date?" I asked her, anxious to show her the next surprise I set up.

"Sure Harry. Where are we going anyways?"

"You'll see. I want it to be a suprise." I answered, knowing that I was teasing her. We cleaned up the picnic and headed back to the car. Once we got to the parking lot of the pet store, I opened the door for her as she slowly got out of the car. She stood there, staring at the store, "THIS is where you brought me?" she asked, tears starting to roll down her cheeks. Shit, I thought this would be a cute place for a date. I thought I could even buy her a puppy.

"Is something wrong? I'm sorry, I thought this would be a cute place for a date. I'm sorry. Do you wanna leave? We can totally leave. I'm sorry. " I said. I didn't want to bring her here if she didn't want to be here.

"It's fine Harry. It's just that... this is where me and my older sister always used to come. But she died a year and a half ago." She confessed. Oh god.

"I'm so sorry Virginia, I had no idea. We could leave if you want? I feel so bad, I'm sorry."

"Harry, calm down. It's fine, it just brings back some memories.I'll be fine."

"No, Virginia. I don't want to bring you here if this is a place where you have memories with your sister, I want to take you places where we can make memories of our own. This pet shop was a special spot for you and your sister, I don't want to interfere with that. We'll just go get some frozen yogurt instead. How does that sound?" I asked.

"Harry Styles, you are the sweetest guy I have ever met. Fro-yo sounds pretty good." she said as we climbed back into the car.

.

Twenty minutes later, we were at my favorite frozen yogurt shop, just sitting and talking to each other.

"So, I know you may not want to talk about it, and that's fine, but if you want to talk about your sister, I'm all ears." I told Virginia, meaning every word of it. I wanted to know what her sister was like. No, not in that way. I wanted to know what kind of bond she and her sister had. I feel like I could relate to her because I had a sister that passed away as well. Except my sister died as a baby, being a stillborn. Either way, I was curious about the topic.

"Well, her name was Emily. When she died, she was 23, barely being able to start life on her own. She went on vacation with a couple of her college friends in Cancun. She missed her flight because of me. I had called her, crying and she came over to comfort me. When Emily went to reschedule her flight, she had gotten a later flight. Later that day, on the news, I had heard a story about a plane crash about 50 miles from the airport. Emily was on that plane. I always have nightmares. If it weren't for me, she wouldn't have missed her plane. She wouldn't have been on that plane that crashed." Virginia confessed, with tears rolling down her cheeks again.

I wrapped her in a tight hug to comfort her. "Virginia, it's not your fault. She could have been on any plane. Anything could have happened. Don't blame it on yourself."

"But you weren't there. Yeah, I was hurting at the time, but I could have put up with that emotional pain. If only I could have my sister back. Me and my useless drama is what made her die. I shouldn't have called her. It should have been me."

"VIrginia. Don't you ever say that. You are a beautiful person, inside and out. Just because you come with some emotional baggage doesn't mean I love you any less. Yeah, that's right, I love you." I said, surprising even myself. I knew that I liked her a lot, but I didn't know I loved her until I said it. It felt so right, nothing like when I used to tell Lauren that.

Tears kept rolling down Virginia's face, making her face red and puffy. I didn't even care, this girl is the definition of beautiful. I would tell her that everyday for the rest of my life if that's what it took for her to believe me.

"Do you not see how wonderful you are? Seriously, before I left to pick you up tonight, I heard all the boys talking about how great you are. They're the ones that gave me the courage to ask you out tonight. Without them, I wouldn't have the privilege of being able to call you my girlfriend. But without you, I wouldn't realize how beautiful one person can be." I told her honestly.

"Harry Styles, you're amazing. You make me feel important. I love you too, Harry." She said with a smile spread across her face.

.

I drove Virginia back to my flat to hang out for a while.

"Lads, I'm home!" I screamed.

"HARRY GOT SOME. We all know it happened. So Harry, tell us... was she good?" Louis said as he was walking into the room, obviously not knowing that Virginia was here. "Shit. Sorry Virginia. I was kidding. I know that you wouldn't have sex with our little Harry here. If you were a hit-and-run, he would have shagged you already." Louis explained.

Oh god. "Louis, why would you even say that!"

"It's fine, atleast I know I'm different." Virginia said.

"Virginia's staying over tonight, isn't that right Virginia?" I asked her. She pulled me to the side to have a little chat.

"Harry, what are you doing?" she asked.

"I want you to spend the night here. It'll give you a chance to get to know the lads a bit more, plus we can bond. Don't worry, I don't mean THAT kind of bonding." I clarified.

"Fine, but only if we get to play some games." She agreed.

"What games do you want to play?" I asked her.

"You'll see." She said as she displayed a smirk, similar to Louis famous half smirk.
