As the fire pup woke up, he felt lonely. If it was in fact that it was just Marshall, or because his girl isn't next to him. He started panicking. He thought that Rocky lied to him again, but then, the door opened, and in them stood Everest, with a napkin on her mouth.

"Good morning Marshy. Did I wake you up?" Everest asked as she got closer to him and gave him a kiss.

"Good morning. No, in fact, I was worried that something happened to you." Marshall said, thanking God that she is safe.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Needed to go and empty myself about an...hour ago I think." Everest said, laying back next to him.

"You threw up?" She nodded. Again, Marshall panicked if something was wrong with her.

"Marshy, please stop and calm down. I even quickly drove to Katie, and she checked on me." Everest said, leaning onto him.

"So, you are alright?" He asked. He got no response from the husky, she just handed him a box. Small box with the red and turquoise wrapping on it. It said 'For Marshall'. He opened it and just saw a photo. He immediately noticed it was a photo from an ultrasound. He looked closer and spotted something on it, presumably a baby. But then, he saw the name of the patient.

"E-Eve?" He looked up and saw Everest smiling.

"Marshy, we are going to be parents!" She exclaimed not too loud to have no one hear it. Marshall couldn't believe his eyes, and presumably ears. He was going to be a father, a real father to a real puppy. He lifted Everest up.

"YESSS!!!" He shouted. Everest just giggled and planted a kiss on his lips.

"So, Everest, how are you doing?" Liberty asked Everest. Yesterday, as they talked, they had their partners next to them, so it wasn't so open to talk. But now, they were alone.

"Fine, I would say. In fact, probably even better than yesterday." Everest said, smiling.

"And why's that?" "Well, but you promise to keep a secret, alright?" Liberty raised her paw and giggled.

"Well, I am kinda pregnant," Everest said. Liberty gave her a confused look.

"Pregnant? Someone raped you or?" "Gosh Liberty, why was that the first thing that you ask?" They both laughed.

"Sorry, I spent probably 80% of my life on the street, so that's why," Liberty said.

"Well, I wasn't raped, but the pup is Marshall's," Everest said, smiling at the thoughts of the small puppy being born.

"Well, then congrats!" Liberty clapped her paws.

"But I have a bad feeling about everything. Like, I feel something wrong will happen, but I don't know when or what." "You need to relax Everest. Probably you are exhausted. I'm gonna reassure you nothing is going to harm you, Rocky is under my paw." She giggled.

"I hope so."

It was getting late and Marshall tried his best to get Everest out of the lookout. To be fair, she just wanted to lay. Her sudden exhaustion from doing barely anything was extremely rare, given that she is one of the most energetic pups other than Liberty.

"Where are we going again?" Everest asked as Marshall was trying to walk to the place. He was quiet and mumbled some song under his chin.

As they arrived in the forest, they saw a beautiful scenery of a lake surrounded by a forest. The moonlight perfectly reflected the whole lake and it earned shock from Everest.
