"----Ashley."

Marshall jumped in surprise as he woke up. He saw that he was again in the tower in the second reality. What is happening to me?

Just then, he felt a paw placed on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Everest.

"Oh, you looked like you are gonna die," Everest said, relieved. "Anyway, we didn't get the chance to talk. I'm Everest, snow rescue pup in Paw Patrol." She handed out her paw to shake, which Marshall accepted.

"And where are the others?" "Well, out. It's 10 in the morning, a normal walk in the forest." Everest said, her smile fading away.

"And you said you are a snow rescue pup, didn't you?" Marshall questioned, trying to sound not so excited to have her beside him.

"Well, I would go, it's just, I can't. No one wants me going on rescues now." Everest said, lowering her head down.

"Did you do something?" "No, I haven't. But I've been, let's say, at one place, that they said I need to rest and take pills every now and then." Everest explained, feeling slightly better next to Marshall.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." "And you? You must have some exciting story from the dark streets as a former stray." She said, giggling. He found out this Everest had the exactly same personality as the real one.

"Well, not too exci-wait, former stray?" Marshall asked, confused. She nodded.

"Yes, I heard Chase talking with Ryder about it and he is letting you stay till he finds you a home," Everest said as she smiled at Marshall.

Why is he starting to be cuter? She thought as she stared at Marshall eating the food he got. He was happy that he would at least have a place to stay, and be in close proximity to the others. He wanted to get to know them again, or maybe get them to get to know him.

As for Everest, she started falling for the spotted pup. She felt like her relationship with Rocky never existed and that only Marshall was meant to be her. And she knew him only for a few hours. But she let it flow, and walked outside to not think more about Marshall.

The day went on, and Marshall did make friends with everyone, probably good friends, apart from Rocky. Rocky would talk to him, but he could sense something is wrong.

Meanwhile, Marshall went over to Chase. He was spending most of his time with him, although he thought he was just a weight on his shoulders, Chase finally had someone to be more open to.

"Chase?" Marshall started as the german shepherd turned around, humming as a response. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, do you need help?" "Well, not exactly. Just, have you had a dream where you were like in, well, another universe or reality?" Marshall asked, confusing Chase. But he thought about it.

"Well, I actually did. I was guarding the royal crown in the Barkingburg castle, and I got together with the royal pup, which name was Sweetie. It was strange." Chase said. Marshall smiled and nodded, but inside he was still putting everything together. "Why? Did you have that dream?"

"Yeah, I was in a hospital, in a coma but heard everything around me." He said, leaving out some of the details. "Guess it was a nightmare."

"Yeah, nothing like that can happen. Dreams are like your imagination." Chase said. "Anyway, speaking of Barkingburg, you doing something this weekend?" He jokingly said as Marshall shook his head.
