NPC Grian was slain by NPC Grian.
It was all that remained of what had happened. The last lifers had returned to their worlds, Grian had woken up and was alive, Xisuma was admin, the dead were buried, and mourned, and Scar apologised for everything, but everyone forgave him enough to let him stay. On Grian's request, no one spoke about it, mentioned it, or even alluded to everything that had happened. Hermitcraft was back to some strange new normal, with part-robot players and no explanation why for outsiders, though everyone knew. Eventually, new problems, AKA the moon, took over, and the hermits escaped their different way and made it to Season 9, where even the robotic parts had gone from those who still had them, and there were no unfinished bases to complete.
A new normal.
A new server
And one dead robot, who would never be forgotten.
Boom.
Done.
