2: The Solution

Let's see if this chapter is any better than chapter 1...

Grian froze. 

NPG was there. 

Mumbo was there. 

They'd just been talking. 

Like they were friends. 

Like NPG was Grian.

'Hey... Grian...' Mumbo tried to speak, but the winged hermit quickly silenced him.

'Shut up, and explain.' 

'What?'

'Explain why you're talking to it.'

'It?'

'The robot. The mistake.'

'Because he was sad?'

'I'm still here, you know.' NPG piped up to say. 

'Nobody cares.'

'I do.'

'Exactly. Nobody cares.'

NPG shut up, and Grian turned back to Mumbo.

'And why are there so many of that house outside?'

'Because he was teaching me how to build it. And I enjoyed it.'

'I can't believe you. I can't believe you're doing what that thing wants.'

'NPG is a person to, you know.'

'It's a mistake I never should've made. And then never should've given what it wants.' 

'Then what do you suggest we do about him?'

'Find a way to get rid of him. Or hide him. Because it's not going to be staying here and ruining Hermitcraft.'

'Power low...' NPG shut down, all energy lost. Grian and Mumbo both looked at the robot, before turning back to each other.'

'How will we do that? I'm pretty sure our combined total of 4 braincells are going to struggle with this.'

'You started this, so you can jolly well sort it out.'

"I didn't start this! Can't we find someone who can help us.'

'Like...?'

'I mean, which hermits would genuinely have knowledge about how to deal with weird clones, or just weird stuff in general, and not ask any questions as to what happened?'

'I... well, now you put it like that, it's obvious.' 

'Who?' 

'Cub, Cub, Cub, Cub, Cub, Cub, Cub, Cub...'

'Uhh... hello?' Cub stepped away as Grian landed in his canyon, and Mumbo crashed into the ground moments later. 

'We need your help.'

'Ok?'

'There might be a robot clone of Grian loose on the server we need help with dealing with.' Mumbo explained sheepishly. Cub looked bemused, then shrugged.

'Alright. Where is he?'

'Hold up, you're just fine with this?'

'Yeah. Not the weirdest thing I've seen...
Where's this robot?'

'In my starter base. Let's go.'

Grian took off, and Cub followed quickly behind, with Mumbo behind that. It was a quick flight back to Boatem, and they landed just by Grian's base.
