Jungkook was up next .
He was doing a cover of One Direction .
But which song ?
Nobody knew .

The lights on the stage were turned off as the crew prepared for the performance .
Even though the stage was dark , Jungkook's built figure still looked apart from the others . He set a mic stand on the center stage while his crew members set the piano , drums and basses .
Taehyung usually switched between drummer and lead bassist . Today , he had wired into his drumming skills and was sitting behind the giant set . He flashed a smile towards Jungkook and mouthed a 'Hwaiting!' . To which , the younger smiled back and looked at his feet , fixing his mic and drawing deep breaths to calm himself . He usually wasn't ever nervous and was thus known to have a really stable voice even while dancing through wardrobe malfunctions and stage fails that could make anybody lose focus , but he wasn't just anybody .

The piano cued and the lights turned on . The spotlight only on Jungkook , he began looking at the empty stage before him .
People say we shouldn't be together

Slowly raising his gaze from the stage to the ocean of fans .

He said the 'I love you' part as if actually saying it to someone . When the sharp-eyed ones traced the direction he sang towards , their eyes landed on the solo female idols seating area .
[Jimin was sitting right below them]

Turning his eyes back towards the crowd he both loved and hated , for different but still reasonable causes .

But listening to the younger's voice , gave his mind a soothing safety that he shouldn't worry about all that , he knows his Jungkookie only has eyes for him .

He appeared before the stunned older - glassy eyes , his small hands covering his red blushing face , and began to sing in a softer , lower tone .

Which the older took into his own almost instinctively but a bit of hesitation had lingered around because of their current location.

Jimin just followed Jungkook blindly , his vision was too blurry from the tears of overwhelming burst of emotions in him .
