It was supposed to be an easy mission.

Despite the dangers associated with it, in the end, the mission wasnʼt as difficult as it was made out to be. There was an organization that was rising up the ranks quickly, along with disturbing the Port Mafia by stealing their weapons. It was a mistake on the organizationʼs part, involving themselves with the Port Mafia on bad terms.

But to be able to steal from them, they had to be smart. And smart, they were. There were no leads found on them so far, and the ones that were ended up being dead-ends. Due to this, Chuuya, who was off-duty for some time, was required to take on the case and also seek some help from the best detectives in their rival organization. Evidently, he had to head out after gathering all the case files, to the building heʼd rather not visit if he could help it.

Not only because they were enemies but because someone else, who was much more annoying and rage-inducing, worked there. Yes, it was true that Dazai spent most of his nights at Chuuyaʼs apartment, always causing the redheadʼs hackles to rise. Just because they were spending more time together did not mean Chuuya couldnʼt be irritated with Dazai. Heʼd play some dumb prank on him and then make up for it in his own... unique ways. Chuuya shuddered, this was not the time to think of such things, he was on a job.

Chuuya willed his mind to focus, exiting the elevator, files in one hand. He pushed at the door that read ‘Armed Detective Agencyʼ, stepping in with heavy footsteps. Dazaiʼs head snapped up from where he was lazing on his desk, recognition clearly visible in his eyes. Chuuya instantly groaned, glaring at the brunet as a teasing smile spread over his features.

“Ne, what is Chibi doing here? Did you miss me that much?~”
