In 2009 Hayley and Melody Marshall alongside Lena went to New Orleans. In 2010 Lena went to visit the town Mystic Falls, saying something about seeing an old friend.
Both of them didn't even bother to ask.
They knew when it comes to the supernatural business and Lena's old friends that she doesn't say a thing.
So when they came to New Orleans, the French Quarter Vampires weren't happy that two crescent werewolves were rummaging freely trough the city.
The Marshall twins weren't happy either that there was a curse placed on their pack.
So they threatened Marcel and his vampires, with glowing eyes and claws that there has to be peace in New Orleans and that everyone has the same rights and deserve to live freely.
The vampires of course were outrageous that they were saying such things and they were ready to kill them but Marcel stopped them in the last minute.
He knew that if there was a fight and someone is going against the twins no one is going to come out alive because both of them would snap and kill and destroy everyone and everything that comes in their way.
So they came to a conclusion to make a treachery.
Melody broke the crescent curse, freed Davina from the Harvest and broke her link to the ancestors, so they couldn't use the poor girl anymore.
The vampire, witch and werewolf fraction couldn't attack or kill each other only in self-defense, if necessary.
The same goes for the human fraction, only difference is that the vampires are allowed to feed from the tourists only, so they could keep the city alive and that money is flowing in their wallets.
The representative from each fraction are Marcel Gerard for the vampires, Jackson Kenner for the werewolves, Vincent Griffin for the witches, who also became the Regent of the nine covens, an middle aged man they met while breaking Davinas link to the ancestors and for the humans Kieran O'Connell, the pastor.
Every fraction loved the peace treaty.
The witches could perform natural magic freely and the werewolves could normally walk trough the French Quarter, without the fear of being attacked or to transform and only to walk in human form on the full moon.
The vampires were wary at the beginning but eventually they relaxed and enjoyed the treachery like the others.
Great allies and friendships were created.
The Marshall twins loved the young teenage witch Davina and she loved them.
The little witch became quickly their little sister and they became older sisters to Davina.
