   "Shut up, shut up, fuck!" Eren clumsily threw his arms out, clambering a few steps forward with heavy feet as he pushed Armin and Mikasa aside, causing them to awkwardly bump into the people beside them. A wide and toothy lopsided grin spread across his face, and he was looking pretty thoroughly stoned, with pink-tinged cheekbones and eyes that hardly looked open. Long, chocolate-colored locks of hair framed his face, brushing against his cheekbones and his jaw, which was lined with scruffy brown stubble. The pink corners of his eyes made his sea-green irises shine just a little brighter.

     "I fucking LOVE this song!" he announced boomingly, and despite his words somewhat running together, he'd noticeably grabbed the attention of several other people in the group, including my own. The entire room was momentarily washed in an indigo hue, and then shifted as the color of the LED strips lining the ceiling switched. It worked somewhat like a black light for a split second, and all of the neon colors in the room seemed to glow, overly saturated and almost hard to look at. Several posters, painted records, and other miscellaneous objects in the room seemed to pulse with color, almost reminiscent of a bowling alley or arcade. Even the greener streaks of color in Eren's eyes were glowing. They shined like a rabid animal's, bright and wild. I chuckled a bit to myself as he started to sing along, but soon after flat-out broke into a fit of giggles when Reiner joined in. Their voices together were so tone-deaf, almost worse than Erwin and Levi's.

     "Two pints of boooooze," They sang, both swaying their heads and shoulders, which soon turned into them dancing along to the upbeat tune. Armin pulled his phone out of his pocket, presumably trying to capture a video of the two of them, giggling behind his free hand. His neat blonde bangs just barely covered his eyebrows, with the exception of a few strands that were swept loosely behind his ear. His mouth and chin were covered by his hand, but I could see the smile in his eyes as he lifted the phone in front of his face, peering at Eren and Reiner's clumsy dance through the screen.

     "Tell me are you a bad fish, too?" Reiner's voice wasn't actually all that bad, just off-key... Far off-key. I grimaced, but there was still an unshakable amused curl at the corner of my lips.

     "Are you a bad fish too?" Eren harmonized, or he at least tried to. It wasn't long before his voice cracked in a way that I could only describe as offensive to the ears, and he burst into laughter, throwing his head back as his laughs shook through him, his hands resting on his rumbling chest. I watched Armin and Mikasa collapse into laughter as well, as if it were contagious. The now-purple lights paired with the music made the room feel distinctly beachy, and a vague nostalgia washed over me. I looked around the space, surely with a visibly stoned grin on my face. I was due for another hit, for sure, but the room still moved a bit slow.

     Nearly all of us from the Scouts were stacked in the upstairs living room, or the "vibe room"- as Connie so discreetly nicknamed it- for a sesh, as per usual. The Vibe room is pretty spacy, furnished with a long couch, love seat, and two recliners, all arranged around a coffee table. At the back wall, there's my PC desk, and not one, but two spinning desk chairs, and above it, the TV is mounted. My PlayStation and switch dock are both hooked up to the TV, and with my PC in here, I thought it was appropriate to call it the game room. All kinds of posters and other decorations covered the walls, and when the colored lights are on and the music's blaring, it is in fact, quite a vibe (especially while zooted), so I supposed that the nickname was appropriate.

     Jean and Connie had paused their match of Mario Kart to join us back in the circle for a second round, along with Marco, who was sitting out as he waited for his turn to play. The three of them nudged in between Armin and Sasha. From Sasha going clockwise, the circle was arranged like this; Sasha, Connie, Marco, Jean, Armin, Eren, Mikasa, Bertholdt, Reiner, Me, Hanji, Erwin, Levi.
