Chapter 2: Unexpected lives
(A/N: A quick recap, just in case somebody didn't get it yet. Kanao and Komi both switched bodies and their world as they tried to grasp their new surroundings. I think that's all you need to know. Enjoy reading.)
'This is disastrous!'
In the modern age of Japan, school became the place where children gets educated. They learn new things and in turn their brains get develops and soon will be leading the world. But as for someone who has been taught everything that she knows at her own home, to suddenly come into high school, it will be a challenge for her to face.
.
Kanao's POV
This is my first time ever entering a school. Before I had only been taught by my sisters. Is this what they're teaching children in the future? Although, I knew some of them when it came to herbs and medicine. I had learned that this wooden stick is used for writing. Maybe it's a pencil but in modern form. I took note of everything that was said just in case it was important. A few hours in and I'm beginning to feel tired. How long do these lesson lasts anyway?
"Alright, class dismissed. Next class is in the gym."
Ah, looks like it's over. The sensei walked out and I breathe a sigh of relief. But the peace did not last long as I feel the rumble on my desk. I lift up my head and a wave of people surges pass the desks in front of me and they surround me. Is this an attack of sort? Should I defend for myself? I only sat there listening to their requests of having lunch with me. Does that mean eating with them? Is it okay to do so? I'm so conflicted right now. Never have I seen this many people flocking around one person before. Please help me, nee-san.
.
Tadano's POV
Right, it is now lunch break. As usual, a wave of students flocks the table right besides me. Komi-san is popular after all. And she seems to be frozen stiff, like she usually does when people are around her. She still has a long way to go but, 100 friends is not an easy task.
After five minutes have passed, we were left alone again. I looked at her and she still is frozen stiff. Did she feel bad for not saying anything?
'Help me.'
Wait what? Did I just hear something? I looked around and it was empty. Only me and her. Usually she would have eaten her lunch by now. Is she not hungry? Or is it that she just want to talk.
"S-so, how was the lesson earlier? It seems like it was a bit hard." I tried to strike a conversation
"........" No spark. Maybe something else?
"Are you alright? Do you want to go to the infirmary? I can walk you there." I offered but she shook her head. What is it that she's feeling restless about?
"I- I- i- i- i- i- i-" She's trying to speak, but I can't understand it though
"W-why don't you write it out instead, Komi-san?" I suggested which she immediately stopped and looked at her notebook
It was like she just heard one of the most brilliant idea and yet, she has done this many times before. This is what's been puzzling me the most. But why do I care about this so much? I'm not the kind to butt in someone else's business. Haha, I'm being bothered by this way too much. Without realising it, she had already finished writing.
