She was once a servant of a section ruler of Black Spot. She was just a regular human. Quirkless and Fragmentless. The worst existence to be in the Black Spot.

The powerless were always the first to die.

Fortunately or unfortunately she caught the eye of Strom the Third, leader of Overlord Guild.

A ruthless leader. Master of the brutal claws.His fragment is called Adamant Claws. He can make metallic blades come out of his gaps between his knuckles.

(For those that have not read Needless. Fragments do not carry over from parent to child. Example Strom and his daughter, Voras. Strom possesses a powerful Ice fragment called Cruel Vajra Fist while his daughter has a fragment that lets her control her hair. So a Needless can make Needless offspring, but they don't necessarily get the same fragment. It is completely random.)

This Strom was a pig of man in soul. He had a muscular body like his grandfather, Feral hair and beard. He had a desire to have all the women in Black Spot. He would send his men to capture any woman they can find. He would have his taste and throw the broken girls to his men.

But it all changed when he saw Ruri he had a demonic plan. He wanted to sculpt the young girl to his liking. To those not in the known, it would appear that Ruri was given the best food, sweets, and some education. Her body was was constantly checked over by the best "doctors" that could be found to insure her health. This caused the saner..... favored women of the "harem" to become jealous of the girl.

But in reality, the girl was actually being drugged. Her food were laced with aphrodisiacs. Her eduaction had subliminal messages to ensure her loyalty to Strom. And the doctors were there to check her mental health and to ensure the other methods were effective yet appear subdue in the public. The doctors would give her vitamins and special growth hormones to insure her development.

The more lucid women would beat on the poor girl. It was their only outlet. Though those that did were later beaten if not killed for injuring Strom's pet project.

Ruri tried to run or resist the favor. She didn't want to eat the food, Black Spot is not a land where people would give food for free without having done something to it. She would eat some of the food but would later puke the food the first chance she was given. But that would only get her "punished" just short of taking any innocence.

Ruri would cry her self to sleep. She would scratch and scrap at what she precieved as dirty, corrupt. This would only lead to her being punished farther but with added usage of drugs.

Ruri was a broken girl from the drugs and "punishments". The only reason as to why Strom never decided to end his project was the fact that he had antagonize the Yaoyorozu group.

The Overlord Guild was crushed suddenly. Every member was killed. Only Ruri was left. It was only for the fact that she was young that the group had taken her.

If she hadn't wished she had died before Strom's adduction, she did after the Yoayorozu Group had taken her.

It was only with her liberation that she was happy for the events that lead to her angel and his followers.
