Imagine: You saving Thomas

(A/N: This is going to be a sad one so bring your tissues 😭🤧)

After Ava Paige's message about the Flare Virus and how the outside world looks like in the present, which is not what I expected it to be, the remaining survivors look at each other sharing hopeless glances. But what hurts me the most is when I saw Thomas's face which shows his hope is diminished after looking at the outside world.

All of us tried to take in the situation and how are we going to survive out there. Then Minho's voice broke my train of thoughts. " So what do we do now?"

"She said we were important," Newt said.

Then a huge metal door opened right in front of us which is the real exit of the maze. We feel happy, overjoyed that we could finally escape from this hell hole.

Thomas took the first step to the door and all of us followed but our happiness is short-lived when we heard a gunshot rang in the room.

We turned around and saw Gally who pulled the trigger. " We can't leave. We can't. The maze is our home. We belong to the maze." He said while crying.

"Gally, we're free. It's over." Thomas calmly said.

"Don't," Teresa whispered to us. "He's been stung." The group and I saw a black wound on his leg indicating his been stung by the grievers.

"Free?! Do you think we're free out there? No there's no escape from this place." Gally pointed the gun at Thomas.

Thomas put his hands in front of him as he doesn't want Gally to shoot him. " Gally, it's me. You're not thinking straight." Thomas tried to calm Gally.

" I can help you. Just put down the gun." " I belong to the maze." " Just put down the gun."

I look in between Thomas and Gally and knowing how the situation is going to be. "We all do." Gally pulled the trigger. Without thinking I put myself infront of Thomas to protect him from the bullet and at the same time Minho throws his spear aiming at Gally's chest. Everything happened within a second and Gally dropped to the ground with a spear in his chest.

Everyone is still shocked at the events that happened.We watched Gally took his last breath before his eyes became lifeless. All of the sudden,I feel a pain in my chest. "Thomas." I called him. He looked at me and saw a bullet wound near my heart. He looked so shocked,hurt,heartbroken,scared and sad at the same time.

I falled to the ground while grasping for air. "Hey,hey,hey baby. It's going to be alright. Okay? Your going to be just fine." He lifted my head in his lap while crying. I never see him crying this hard. I looked at my friends,who surround Thomas and I while crying for me. I placed my hand on his cheek and caressed it. "Tommy,I'm going to be just fine. I want you to promise me something." I said while taking shuddered breaths in between.

"Anything." He softly said. " I want you to promise me that no matter what the circumstances, you won't give up. Don't give up on yourself and the group. Will you do that for me?" I calmly said.

"Yes,yes I will do anything for you,baby. I promise." He frantically said. "Good." I smiled.

I look and my friends and said " Thank you guys. Thank you for everything." I looked at Thomas. " I love you so much Tommy." "I love you too." He said shakily.

Then my world becomes black.

Third person P.O.V

Everyone is crying for their fallen friend but nothing is worse than Thomas who is screams for his girlfriend to come back.

Then a bright light was shone in the room. A group of men dressed up in black came and rescue the kids.They have hard time trying to pry Thomas off his girlfriend but manages after a few tries. Thomas then gets shoved into a helicopter with his friends. He's still crying for his beloved. The group saw the maze form the helicopter's view and thought about how small the glade is and the maze is surrounded by the desert.

Newt tried to comfort his best friend but no matter what he does,Thomas is grieving and crying non-stop.Form there, Newt knows that (Y/N)'s death had a huge impact on Thomas than the rest of the group.

But Thomas then remember the promise of (Y/N), he will swore that he will fulfill that promise till he dies. For (Y/N)
