You were woken up by loud coughing and sneezing.You turned around and saw your boyfriend ,Newt,in a state where his hair is disheveled, red nose and watered,droopy eyes.
"Oh,Newt.Your sick,love."
"No,I'm not." He sneezed.I gave him that 'are you sure' look with a raised eyebrow.
"Okay,I surrender." He pouted knowing he can't lie to my face.
"Now,I'm bringing you some of Frypan's soup and some medicine for your fever.You must stay in bed,don't get out of it.Understand?" I stated firmly to him while sitting up on the bed.
"Yes,ma'am." He saluted me. "Good boy."
I get up from my bed and get my clothes out of my wardrobe getting read for the day.⬇️⬇️

"I'll be right back with the soup and medicine.Have some rest,Newt." I kissed his forehead.
I walk out of my hut and walked the kitchen,where Frypan was serving breakfast to the boys. "Good morning, Frypan!" I greeted him while walking to the side.
"Good morning,girlie.Whats up?" He asked. "Do you have some chicken soup from dinner's leftover last night? Its for Newt,he's sick and having a high fever."
"Yeah,sure.I'll heat it up right away.I hope Newt will recover soon.By the way,want some breakfast for the two of you?"
"Yes,please." I said.Frypan place bacon,eggs and hash brown on two plates. "Here you go and Newt's soup.So I'm guessing your going to the Medjacks' hut after this?"
"Yup" I said. You see,when I first came here as the new greenie,I was interested in cooking and attending people's injures.so Alby decided that I will get both jobs but on alternate days each week.It was tough at first working two jobs but it was manageable.
"Say my get well soon to Newt for me."He said. "I won't forget it."
I went to the Medjacks' hut and greeted both Clint and Jeff. "Hey boys.How's your day?"
"It it a slow day today but it's relaxing.what about you?" Clint answered. "Well,i'm getting some medicine and Panadol for Newt.He's sick and has a high fever.By the way,do you guys by any chance,have extra blankets?" I asked curiously.
"Oh,I hope he get well soon.To answer your question,yes,we have some blankets.Clint and I asked the creators for more since lots of the boys here keep on complaining about the cold temperature at night." Jeff said while giving me two thick,grey blankets.
"It's not really that cold at night time." I said confusingly. "That's what i've been telling them but nooo they being shanks won't listen to me."Jeff complained.Me and Clint laughed.
"I gotta get going,see you guys later.Thanks for the blankets." I thanked them."No worries,see you."
I walked out of the Medjacks' hut and walked back to my hut.I opened the door quietly and saw Newt is still sleeping.I carefully placed Newt's soup and our breakfast plate on the nightstand.I covered Newt with the extra blanket since he was sweating profusely.I touched his forehead and its still hot. I wake Newt up.
"Hey,love.Newt,wake up.I got you some nice soup for sore throat and have some breakfast." He opened his eyes groggily and slowly.He sat up while pulling the blankets to him.
"Thank you love."He eats the soup slowly while I fed him.After eating both our breakfast,I put away the plates and prepare the Panadol pill for him.
"Okay,Newt here's some Panadol." I gave it to him with a glass of water.He quickly ate the pill and then drink the water.
"Now you need to have some sleep and a good rest for tomorrow." I said to him while getting Newt ready for bed.
He nodded his head. "Can you cuddle with me,please?" He asked while pulling the cute puppy dog eyes knowing I can't resist that face.
"Fine.But only for a few minutes till you sleep." I crawled to him and he opened his arms to me.I rest my head on his chest while he wrapped his arms around me.
After a few minutes of comfortable silence,I sneezed and cough. "Well,it looks like both of us aren't leaving the bed then." Newt joked.At least I have an excuse to not go work.

Long time no see.I'm so sorry or the big writer's block as I was studying for my Mother Tongue 'O'-Levels.The good news is that since I'm going on a week vacation with my family,I will updating as much as possible on the trip.I will be planning more for both books so stay tuned.I see you when I see you.Happy June Holiday.❤️❤️
