chapter 10

Audrey's POV

"today was a lot of fun." Jacob said, as we walked into the hotel room. "yes it was." I said, smiling.

"I forgot how fun it used to be hanging out with you." Jacob said. "me too." I said, still smiling. Hailey came bursting into the room with Aaliyah.

"no! he's not getting away with this! he can't keep talking to-" Hailey stopped talking when she saw me. "oh. hey." she said awkwardly.

"hi." I said, giggling. "hey Rey." Aaliyah said. "hey liyah." I said, smiling. "sorry, did we interrupt?" Hailey asked, wiggling her eyebrows.

"no." I said, giving her a look. I looked at Jacob and he smiled. I smiled back. "you guys want to go to the pool before dinner?" Aaliyah asked. "yeah!" I said, "Sure." Hailey said. Jacob stood up,
"yes!" he said.

we all got ready to go to the pool. I put on a red bathing suit and grabbed a towel the hotel provided. I slipped into white flip-flops and sat on my bed, while I waited for everyone else.

Jacob came out of the bathroom, with no shirt on. he had perfect, lined up, abs. "woah." I said, under my breathe.

Jacob laughed and I got out of my day dream. "what?" I asked. he smiled and said, "nothing." Hailey and Aaliyah finished getting ready and we went down to the pool.

I sat at the edge of the pool and Jacob pushed me in. "JACOB!!!" I yelled. he laughed and Hailey and Aaliyah picked him in. Hailey fell in and Aaliyah laughed at all of us. Jacob got out of the water and pushed her in. we all got out and watched her, laughing. she groaned and we all jumped back in & swam.

I saw the rest boys come in. and they all jumped in. the last one who came in was Hayes. "I'm leaving." I said. Hailey said, "I'll come. I don't know what I might do." I laughed and so did she.

Hayes made eye contact with me and I quickly looked away. I got out of the pool, and dried myself with a towel. I wrapped it around me and waited for Hailey to finish drying herself.

Hayes began to walk over. "Hailey. hurry up." I said through my gritted teeth, motioning my head up towards Hayes' direction. she looked up and looked at Hayes. she grabbed my hand and tried pulled me out. we tried ran past him, but he grabbed my arm.

"Audrey. please! can we talk?" Hayes asked. I looked down at my towel and lightly shook my head. he released my arm and we ran off back to the room.

Aaliyah and Jacob came ups and we decided to order room service. when it came, we ate the food and took selfies. I turned off the light and we all went on our laptops.

Jacob laid on his stomach, next to me on my bed. he pulled the sheets, up and over his head and wrapped it around him. I laughed and took a picture.

"hey!" he said, smiling. "qt!" I said, showing him the picture. he smiled. we directed our attention back to the laptops and I leaned my head on his shoulder. he kissed my head, making me smile. I felt him smile.
