Audrey's POV

It was 10:30 when I woke up. I realized my head was on Jacobs chest. I quickly got up, went to change into my clothes for the day, and got ready.

I walked out of the bathroom and saw my phone light up. I walked over to it and saw a couple messages from Cameron and Hayes.

I looked at Cameron's first. they said, 'hey sis, we have meetings today. get ready, it's formal attire.'
'Audrey!!'
'Rey!'
'Audrey freaking Dallas'
'come to my room!!'

I replied, 'hey sorry!! I was sleeping but okay... what's wrong? why do you keep texting me? 😂'

i sent the message and walked to Cameron's room. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Hayes opened the door. I said goodbye as he said hello. I started to walk back down the hall, but Hayes ran after me. "Hayes, go away. I don't want to talk to you." I said, continuing to walk and ignore him.

"no Audrey, please let's talk." Hayes said. he grabbed my arm and I slapped his hand. "don't touch me." I said. I ft to the door and tried to open it, without fiddling.

"don't be like that Audrey. let me explain, please?" Hayes said.

"no, what's there to talk about? how you pretty much cheated on me? even if we weren't dating? how you acted like you loved me? how you hurt me so gosh damn hard that I can't get you out of my mind and move on?" I said, sticking my key in the door.

Hayes looked hurt and upset. "exactly." i said, opening the door so I can go in. "good bye Hayes." I said, closing the door. tears started to build up. Hayes put his foot between the door and the wall.

"Audrey." he said, pushing the door open. he got me mad so I started to yell. "HAYES JUST GO AND LEAVE ME ALONE!! YOU DONT UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVED YOU AND MISS YOU BUT HATE YOU !! BUT YOUR MAIKG EVERYTHING WORSE!!!" I said, crying and slamming the door.

I leaned against the door and slid down to the floor, crying. I put my hands on head and leaned on my knees.

"Audrey?" Jacob asked. I put my head up and saw him get out of bed. he rushed over and asked, " are you okay??" I shook my head and he hugged me.

I cried into his shoulder, wishing I never fell for Hayes. but hey, he was the best mistake I've ever made.
