When Andrias was awake the next morning, he was staring at the ceiling, his face red. Dear Frog. He remembered everything. The wine, how he brought her back to her room, calling each other pretty... She said she loved him. Come on, that was just the alcohol doing its thing. Surely it didn't reflect her true feelings. Not like he wanted her to like him... Oh, but he did. How he wished she'd compliment him, smile at him, tell him kind words with that sweet, sweet voice of hers... No. He mustn't. Starting a relationship? Just like with... He shortly glanced at his crown before dressing up. Ignoring the whole situation would only end badly, he had to talk with her.

Poor Cassidy was having a rough morning. She barely opened her eyes when the sun was aggressively shining through the window, making her whine and hide under the blanket. Her head was hurting real bad, and she was so, so thirsty. How much did she drink last night? She finally crawled out of her bed and took a well-deserved bath, hoping to feel less awful. The warm water helped relax her body and clear her mind, her memories of the night before slowly coming back. Right, there was all that fantastic food! She had so much fun, and Andrias was just so lovely... Cassidy began to wash her hair, blushing just by thinking about the monarch. Hopefully, she didn't say anything too embarrassing during dinner...

Once she was all dressed, she prepared some tea with medicinal herbs and poured it into a cup, bringing it to a table in the library. She always brewed this particular blend when she had a headache, and it was always effective. Cass sat down and took a sip. Some peace and quiet were just what she needed.

"How am I supposed to bring it up..."

Andrias was reluctantly walking towards the library, his hands behind his back. What was he even supposed to say? Did she even remember? Maybe he didn't need to bring it up, pretend nothing ever happened! ... But before he knew it, he had reached the door. Too late to turn around now. The king slowly opened the door, peeking inside. There she was, reading as usual. She did look tired, no surprises there. She closed her book, greeting him with a tired little smile.

"Good morning Andrias. What brings you here?"

"Oh you know, just checking on my favorite librarian.", he replied, trying to hide his awkwardness. She chuckled but soon held her head in pain.

"Ugh... You'll have to forgive me, my head is killing me. Had too much to drink last night."

"I understand, don't worry.", Andrias said as he anxiously played with his beard, "...Speaking of which, could we talk about dinner?"

"Why, did something happen? It's pretty blurry in my head.", Cassidy replied, drinking some of her tea.

"Well we were both quite drunk and we... Let's say we exchanged some words..."

The librarian stopped mid-sip. Oh Frog. She didn't want to ask, but she had to.

"... What exactly happened?"

The monarch took a deep breath, his cheeks feeling warm.

"You called me pretty, then I called you pretty."

She slowly put the cup on the table, doing her best to not freak out on the spot. If she told him that, who knows what else she could have said last night!

"I-I see! Alcohol, am I right?", she replied with an awkward chuckle. Andrias didn't seem fully satisfied with that answer, almost disappointed, in a way.
