On track

Weeks passed since the two confessed to each other. The news about Jeongin's old relationship with Seungmin died down, and no one seemed to notice how touchy and close Hyunjin and Jeongin had gotten.

The two started dating seemingly as a secret, no one knew except for themselves. They both agreed to wait a bit to tell their friends and parents since it might be a lot to take in all at once.

"Wow Hyunjin woke up on time today? What a surprise!" Hyunjin rolled his eyes at Minho's words. Minho had been correct as he had woken up on time to walk to school with all three of his childhood friends.

"Have you guys eaten breakfast yet?" Doah asked. "Yeah Jeongin and I ate at my house. My mom always goes over the top when Jeongin comes in the morning." Minho chuckled.

"I mean to be fair I would too. I mean just look at Innie! He's like our baby!" Minho exclaimed, ruffling Jeongin's while Jeongin whined in protest. Hyunjin rolled his eyes.

"Hey! Don't touch him...he's mine.." Hyunjin said lowly, pulling Jeongin close to him by the arm. Doah giggled, Minho looked unbothered, and Jeongin was blushing.

"What? Are you guys finally dating now?" Minho asked in a teasing tone, not expecting a serious answer. "Yes we are actually." Hyunjin responded seriously. Minho chuckled slightly.

"Oh I see-" Minho cut himself off when he looked over to Jeongin. Jeongin was blushing as Hyunjin as holding him close. His eyes widened a bit, Doah on the other end seemed oblivious.

"W-Wait...you guys are actually dating?" The four friends stopped in their tracks. Hyunjin had a blank expression while Jeongin still looked flustered. "Yes Jeongin and I are dating. Sorry for not telling you guys earlier."

Hyunjin laughed as he saw both Doah and Minho's jaws drop. "What? Are you guys that surprised?"

"Yes! What the hell Jeongin when did you confess!?" Minho asked, shock evident in his voice and face. Jeongin's face was flushed, he was feeling very embarrassed. Hyunjin seemed to be basking in the attention.

"Hold up since when do Hyunjin and Jeongin like each other!?" Doah asked, face full of shock. "U-Uh I confessed to Hyunjin a while ago-"

"And you didn't tell me!? I thought we were in this together Innie!"

"Hold up you knew the whole time that Innie liked me!?" Hyunjin asked shocked. Minho scoffed at Hyunjin. "Yes! You and Doah are both idiots how did neither of you notice?" Both Doah and Hyunjin gasped in offense.

"Hey! I'm not an idiot! And neither is Jinnie!" Doah said before she slapped Minho's arm. "W-Well to be fair..it was painfully obvious and Minho is the only one who caught on.." Jeongin nervously laughed, scratching at his head.

"Wow and you said nothing?" Hyunjin asked, looking at Minho surprised. Minho shrugged. "You think I would out Innie like that? You should've figured it out earlier! You're such a dumbass Jin!"

Hyunjin sighed and rolled his eyes. "Whatever..now I feel bad for not noticing earlier.." Jeongin frowned and held one of Hyunjin's hands. "Don't feel bad. I should've confessed to you earlier."

Minho and Doah smiled. "It's okay guys! All that matters is that you guys are happy and comfortable with each other. I honestly had no idea you guys liked each other." Doah said happily.

"Well you're an idiot. It was so obvious!" Minho said. Doah glared slightly at her boyfriend before hitting him lightly. Hyunjin and Jeongin laughed as the couple started bickering.

Soon the four friends got to school. Jeongin was the only one with a different class in the morning. "Have a good day Innie. Love you." Hyunjin said before kissing Jeongin's forehead. Jeongin gave Hyunjin a hug before going to his classroom.
