Massimo returned two days later. He was called away for a moment but soon hurried back. He saw Liam and his wife Lori. They smiled seeing him walking up to them. "How is Mila?" He asked. "She's awake and alert. They are changing her bandages, so they had us step out. She was alert starting yesterday." Liam told him, shaking his hand.
He nodded. "I would like to see her today. Catch up? I want to ask about what happened. Then I want to talk to you Liam." Massimo told him. Liam nodded. "Of course son." Liam told the man he watched grow up from a infant.
The nurse came out and said that she was decent now. So, Massimo knocked on the door and walked in. Mila was sitting up in the bed, reading a book. She was indeed awake and alert now. Liam told him when they met back up two days ago that she had no brain damage thankfully.
Mila, hearing the knock and the door opening, she looked up from her book, and looked over seeing a man walk in.

"Can I help you?" She asked looking at him. He looked her over now that she was showing more of herself. She was pretty beaten up. A bandage on her neck. "I suppose you don't remember me. It's been years since we last saw each other. I'm Massimo. My father was friends with yours." He explained.
Her eyes widened some, and she nodded. "I vaguely remember you. You had a mean twin brother who pushed me around all the time." She told him. He nodded. "I'm sorry about your father. I wished I was able to go to the funeral. I was in the middle of exams, so I wasn't even told about it till after." She told him.
She put her bookmark back in and put the book down to be polite. "Why are you visiting me?" She asked him. Her big green eyes watching him closely. He moved a chair to sit beside her. He nodded once to the bandage on her throat.
"What happened?" He asked, ignoring her question. She reached up and touched it. "Glass shard." She told him. "What caused you to be here Mila?" He asked. "I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I don't really remember much about it." She said, shrugging. It was obvious she didn't like talking about it.
He will get it out of her another time. He didn't want to overwhelm her.
"Again. Why are you visiting me?" She asked once more. "I was already at the hospital when I ran into your father two days ago. I wanted to make sure you were doing better." He told. "And no. I don't want to talk about why I was already here." He told her, knowing that she was going to ask him that next.
She nodded. "Can you ask them for more water. My throat hurts." She asked of him. He nodded and got up to make the request. Her parents were waiting in the waiting room for him to finish talking to their daughter.
Soon a nurse came in with a new pitcher. She gave a soft smile and thanked the nurse before the said nurse left. Mila sipped the water from the straw. Massimo watched her mouth. He wanted to feel those lips around his cock.
She sat the cup down on her tray. "I can't really talk a lot for a bit." She told him. He nodded. "Ok. I just wanted to make sure you are ok. I'll be visiting a lot." He told her, putting his hands in his pants pockets.
She just gave him a look. She didn't really know this man from her past. The St. Claires moved away when she was ten. So, she didn't really know this guy anymore. He was a stranger to her. So, she didn't really know what he wanted her to say to his announcement of him coming back to her.
He went over and kissed her head, before leaving.

Massimo walked with Liam to the chapel. The two made a cross, and then sat in the pews. "What is it that you wanted to talk about with me son?" Liam asked. "I'm taking Mila as mine." He told him flatly. Liam looked at the man confused.
"I'm sorry?" He asked confused by his words.
"I'm lonely. I am going to take Mila back home with me when she is released. And we will plan a wedding." He explained more. "Massimo. You can't expect me to be ok with that." Liam said surprised.
"The thing is Liam. I'm not asking. I'm telling you. My father used to joke about her marrying either my brother or myself. My brother is gone. I am divorced. I'm taking Mila as my wife. It will make my father happy. You should be happy as well. I am telling you this out of respect." Massimo told the man.
Massimo stood. "Don't try and warn her. Don't try to get her away from me. I care about you Liam. I care about your family. So, please don't anger me." He warned before making another cross, and then left the shocked father there in the pews.
