The Fantastic Spider-boo

Chapter One - The bite

Ranboo's a great kid. He has great grades, he has great friends, great moms, an awesome cousin that he unfortunately don't see that often. He wouldn't like his life to change. This week they're going to the Craft Labs for a visiting, the science teacher made a group of the greatest science students of his class and he and his friends were called.

— I think they're gonna separate us at the bus. — Tommy whispers for the two of them.

— Yeah, so we don't cause any accidents on the way there. Are you guys excited for that? — Tubbo whispers back at them

— I'm not, but I bet nerdboo is — Tommy says taping Ranboo's arm.

— Well... I am, but I thought you'd be excited to see your brother — Ranboo says.

— Listen I like my brother when he's not on his ultimate nerd state — Tommy mocks his brother while he says.

— He's almost always in that state — Tubbo jokes making Ranboo giggle.

— Tubbo is there anything you'd like to share with the class? — The teacher says directly at them.

— No Mr. Blade. — He answers turning his attention back to the class.

— So, we were talking about our visit at the Craft Labs. The bus will leave at 1pm...

Ranboo can't lie he was very excited to see the Craft Labs since Tommy's older brother Wilbur started working there, they chatted a lot about how amazing there is, all the technology is mind-blowing. He was truly excited.

Tommy was also excited, he lied but everyone could tell that, he misses his older brother, since Wilbur started working there they barely had time together as they did. He would spend more time working or talking about work than time with his brother. It's been a few weeks that Wilbur sleeps at work, he hasn't come back yet, Tommy misses him and that visiting is his great opportunity to see his brother again.

Tubbo wasn't that excited as they were, but he's a supportive friend.

The day of the visiting came sooner than expected. Ranboo was almost jumping in excitement, Tommy could barely hide his excitement as well, Tubbo was simply giggling at his friends excitement. Tommy and Tubbo sat in the front sits, Ranboo was right behind.
They start hearing someone yelling "WAIT WAIT".

— That's definitely Bill — Aimsey says sitting on the other side of the hall with their friend.

— Hi aims, didn't know you were coming — Ranboo says greeting his friend

— Of course Ran, Bill and I are making an article about that — Bill and Aimsey were the school news reporters, they definitely were coming to the visiting.

— I'm here!! — Bill announces — Don't go wihout me.

— Hi here, I'm Tommy — Tommy jokes.

— You're not funny. — Bill says and sits next to Ranboo.

— Everyone here? Good to go? — Teacher Blade says as they start leaving.

The first thing that amazes everyone is how big is that building, and the movement people coming and going all the time. As they all stare at the big building, Wilbur approach the group, the first one that notices is Tommy.

— WILL!!! — He shouts at his brother that he doesn't see in weeks. Wilbur just stand there waving to all of them.

— Hello students, hello mr. Blade — the teacher and Wilbur shake hands

— Hello Mr. Soot, nice to see you again — Mr. Blade says, he and Wilbur were good friends from college.

— Aye?! — Tommy says confused — He's mr. Minecraft like me and dad

— Tom, please. Mr. Soot here. — Wilbur politely correct him.

— But Will? — he says as Tubbo approach and put his hand on Tommy's shoulder. Tommy Looks at him and he whispers "let it go", Tommy nods and look back at them. He can't hear what his teacher says, the only thing on his mind is how Wilbur is acting weird.

Ranboo on the other hand is paying attention to everything, everything amazes him as he starts to get notes he hears a click, he looks up at the origin of this sound and sees Billzo pointing his camera at him.

— Sorry you seemed very interested in everything, it was the perfect shot. But I- I won't post it if you don't want to. — He quickly says as he watches Ranboo's expression changing.

— Yes, thanks. — he smiles at him and turns his attention back to Wilbur.

Wilbur takes them to a special lab, where they keep very important experiments. They all stop by an aquarium.

— Here we have eight spiders, this are radioactive spiders, they survived a lot of things imagine how powerful they can be compared to others of the same specimen. — Ranboo watches them closely, they actually seem different, by just looking he could tell they're not like others black widows, but something get his attention.

— Wait, mr. Soot, I'm counting seven — He says to the instructor.

— I'm pretty sure there are eight of them, Ranboo. But probably one of them is getting tested, don't worry. Is very safe in here. — He taps his shoulder

— Where are the anxious nerd that was afraid of speaking to the teacher? — Aimsey says as he approaches him.

— Wilbur- Wilbur is not a teacher. He's a friend. I'm still the anxious nerd you know, Aims. — He says as he pets his head.

— Good. I like him. — he says and goes back to pay attention to Wilbur.

The group goes to another Lab and they are surprised to see Ash Kabosu working, also known as one of the owners of the Craft Lab.
As they're all watching amazed Ash working, Tommy takes this opportunity to finally talk to his brother.

— Will, please — he says as he takes his brother arm and push him lightly away from the group. Will goes with him, although he's very busy, he misses his younger brother too.

— Hey, I'm supposed to be with the group. — He says looking back at the group

— I know, I know. I just- I just want to talk man, I miss you — Wilbur's expression changes to sobbing.

— Aw man, I miss you too, I promise I just had a few busy days at work, when this is over I'll take you wherever you want to go. We'll even go to that stupid concert you want. — Tommy holds back tears and hugs him, Wilbur hugs him back.

— Thank you — He whispers into his brother's chest. He separate them, wipes the tears out of his face and goes back to the group.

— I told you — Tubbo whispers to Tommy and they both smile.

While the whole group is paying attention to Doctor Ash, Ranboo is taking notes of almost everything he says, he feels something tickling his hand, he shakes it off without paying attention to it, suddenly it burns, as he looks at it he sees a spider, it bit him, he only smashes it with his notes and looks at the bite. He starts to get a little anxious about it, he was bit by a spider. Is he supposed to tell anyone? Is he supposed to go to the hospital? What if is the mutant one that was missing?

— Ran? You good? — he got scared by aimsey's touch, he takes a deep breath and nods. — Ok then. Tell me if you're not feeling good, 'cause I can take you out of here — they whisper.

— Sounds good. Thanks Aims.
He thanks them, and turn his attention back to Ash's work.
