Chapter three - Responsibility

It's been a week since Ranboo is denying his new spider powers. But nothing will matter because he's going to have a great day and a great weekend. His favorite cousin Sneeg is coming in town to spend the weekend. He's arriving by the time Ranboo gets home after school and they're going to have an awesome weekend.

— Already? Son that's some excitement you have — mother says when she sees Ranboo leaving home.

— 'm sorry, Sneeg is coming and I want the time to fly so he get here sooner. — He waves at them

— Not even giving your mothers a kiss? — she says.

— Sure. — he rushes and give 'em both a kiss on the cheek leaving home right after.

— He's all joyful like you, when your favorite cousin is here, Void — mom sights at her son leaving

— Excuse me, Ender? I'm not all that

— Yes you are, and I love you — she kisses her wife and goes back to the kitchen

Ranboo is in a rush, he wants the time in school to fly, his friends catch that at some point.

— Why is he all frenetic? — Freddie asks to Tubbo

— Sneeg is probably coming in town, Ranboo always act like that when Sneeg is coming over. — Tubbo truly knows his friend, for obvious reasons they chat the most, they know all about each other, well, knew all about each other. It's been a week since they don't talk that much, and Tubbo felt that, he missed their late night calls, he misses his friend.

The time didn't go as fast as Ranboo wanted but it finally ended. He didn't even say goodbye to his friends he rushed home. He took another way to hide and put a face mask, and did his swings all over to his house. When he got there he got super excited to see Sneeg's car parked there, he rushed up the stairs and opened the door.

— SNEEG!! — he smiled while he shouts at him.

— RANBOO!! — his best friend hugged him very excited and he hugged back — dude, you got buff?

— I think so yeah, how are you? Oh my god I missed you, how's life? how's-

— Relax Ranboo, I'm good, and you? probably getting some exercise, jesus Ranboo — he chuckles at that — I thought it'd be great I take you to watch a movie like in the old times that we'd watch and criticize every single thing at that movie.

— That sounds awesome I'll just leave my bag in my room and we're good to go.

— Right dude, good to see you — Sneeg taps his shoulder and let him go

— He's just like Void when she's excited. — Sneeg say at Ranboo's moms

— I know right? — Ender agrees.

— What? I'm not- — Void says but gives up realizing the truth.

Ranboo make his way to them. He looks at his own hands, analyzing if he could tell that to Sneeg, I mean, he's the most trustworthy person there.

— Good to go? — Sneeg says looking at him

— Yeah I'm good.

They make their way walking and chatting about nothing, so Ranboo decides to tell Sneeg.

— Sneeg, would you believe if I told you I have super powers? — hes asks that and seems very genuine.

— What? like you fly and stuff?

— It's kinda crappy comparing to that but it's more like I'm a spider

— Spider? Like if your mom is a spider and you're half spider half human?

— Like that but not running in my family genetics, half human half spider sounds accurate.

— What do you mean?

— This — He shots a web to the ceiling and hangs in there, Sneeg take some steps back shocked, in a good way.

— Dude what the fuck? — he seems like he lost his words — How?

— I don't quite know — He walks on the wall and then he's facing Sneeg upside-down — But I have a theory, I was kind of bit by a radioactive spider at the Craft Labs. I didn't tell anyone until now.

— So I'm the first one to know? — Ranboo nods — Dude that's awesome. — Ranboo jumps down and walks with Sneeg again.

— You told me your secret so I'm telling mine, I'm actually running away from some guys.

— What?! Like in a criminal way?! — Ranboo is truly shocked

— No, hell no. They're criminals and I didn't know that so I kinda pissed them out and they're hunting me down — Sneeg tells this with a smile and a face like "surprise, people want me dead"

— That's wow, I don't know what is more shocking me having super powers or you being wanted. You should hide, and stay safe, maybe travel to another country.

— I know I will, but I stopped to say goodbye Ranboo, I don't know how long am I gonna be missing so thats a goodbye kind of visit. — Ranboo's face is concerned.

— Oh man, that's- I'll miss you – he hugs Sneeg.

They finally go to the movies. They watched a poor version of any romance movie and as always they criticized every single scene. They got to the point people were annoyed by their laughts and giggles the whole movie. They're back, the boys were back, Ranboo missed it, Ranboo will miss him.

— Dude I swear I never saw a crying scene more fake than that one.— Sneeg says still laughing at the movie.

— On your life, I think that was pretty decent compared to the first few scenes, the character's introduction was so disney chanel movie level. — They burst into laughter as they make their way back.

— I'll miss that, I'll miss you — Sneeg says as the laughter quiets down. That makes Ranboo look at him and hug him one more time.

— I'll miss you too, when this is over you have to promise me to watch awful movies with me again, please. — Sneeg nods — I'll make a list while you're gone, every "interesting" movie I see.

— I'll try to find some as well.

— good.

It all went so quickly. One second they were laughing and the other Ranboo's body shivered. In less than three seconds they heard a gun shot. Shit, where? Ranboo's question was quickly answered as he sees Sneeg falling on the floor.

— Sneeg? — It's like the whole world stopped and he's filled with questions, he's confused he has no idea of what is going on. Sneeg got shot. He comes back to the world and crouches next to Sneeg.

— What happened?

— They found me — he tries to say but there's blood coming out of his mouth

— Hang in there, the ambulance is on it's way — Ranboo is filled with anger and a lot of tears on his eyes.

— Ranboo wait, you're- you-

— Don't say anything you have to breathe — He tries to hold the injury on Sneegs chest.

— You're a great kid, you are powerful Ranboo — he coughs — with great powers comes great responsibilities.

— What? Sneeg, breathe. They'll get here soon, they'll take care of you.

The sound of the sirens were getting closer and Sneeg was getting weaker.
