The next Day
"Good morning Devon " Joe said as she leaned in for a kiss but Devon stopped her
"Don't" he said shortly
She shifted her head far and smiled
"You haven't brushed your teeth?" Joe asked as she chuckled
"Not that" Devon said as he sat erect
"So what's for breakfast" He asked
"What's on your lips Devon?" Joe asked as she came closer
"Blood?" Joe said as she put his hand on his lips and it was blood but it was dried
"What how did this happen" Joe asked as she left to bring water from the toilet
" It's nothing serious I just bit my lip that's all" Devon said as he cleaned the blood
"Ya you bit your lips with your incisors. " Joe said as she brought a bowl with water and a handkerchief she dipped it in the water and used it to clean the dried blood
"I'll do it myself" Devon said as he brought out his hand to collect the handkerchief
"How will you see what you are doing then?" Joe asked
"Fine then do it for me" Devon said as he smiled
Joe cleaned it and his lips were clean
Devon went inside the bathroom and rinsed his mouth then he brushed it and came out of the toilet
He saw Joe with a tray of biscuits and cocoa and butter
"When did you get that" Devon asked as he came to the sofa and sat down
"When you were in the toilet" Joe said as she came close to him and sat
"Biscuit?" She asked while bringing out a biscuit to his mouth and when he wanted to eat it she quickly replaced the biscuit with her lips and pecked him on his lips
"What was that for ?" Devon asked
"You've already brushed your teeth so ya" Joe said as she put a biscuit in his mouth and left the room
Devon removed the biscuit form his mouth and smiled

"That son of a bitch" Des cursed while he was just walking back and forth and his injuries were already bandaged
"Everything was fine until he showed up" Des said as he tightened his fist
"How was everything fine Des you were trying to rape a girl and you call that fine?" A man from the midst he was staying spoke
"You watch your tongue" Des said in anger as he pointed to him in fury
"I see Devon didn't teach you a lesson well and I as well will complete the lesson" Asher said as he took the finger that he pointed and bent it the other way around
"I will...." Des shouted but got interrupted
"We are assassins not people who help a raper to rape an innocent girl" The man interrupted
"And we are only doing this to repay you for the favour you gave us but that doesn't mean that we will put all our efforts okay?" Asher said as he stepped backwards and put his hands in his pockets and leaned on the wall
"So what's the plan" He continued
"I want you to kidnap Devon Alpha Desai's son and bring him to me"
"It's not that easy you know.... He is a wolf..... They are very sensitive..." Asher said
"That's why I want you to use his weakness.... Joelle"
"Fine but this will be the last time that we will help you"Asher said as he left with his men
At Night
Three men broke into The House and peeped into every room in search of
Devon
They opened Joelle's room and closed it back then they opened Devon's room and saw him sleeping peacefully
"It's him" The first man whispered to the others
"Surround him" he continued as he gave the 2nd man a syringe pump with a medicine for unconsciousness and went to Devon's front. the 2nd man went to his back and the third man stayed at the door for emergency
"The first man brought a sticky like thumb pad and wore a glove on his right hand then he pasted the thumb pad on his thumb and as he wanted to paste it on Devon's Neck Devon held his hand then the 2nd man wanted to inject the injection then Devon held his hand from back and put the first man's thumb pad on the 2nd man's wrist. And injected the 2nd man's injection in the 1st man's wrist.
"Ahh" the first man shouted as he removed the syringe
Devon switched on the light
"What the hell?" Devon said on seeing their faces
"Rob?.... Toby? What are you two doing here" Devon asked as he sat erect
"We were assigned on another assignment not different from the one you gave us" The 2nd man said as he removed the thumb pad from his wrist
"And it's me now? Seriously you guys accepted to do it?" Devon asked
"We need the money" The first man said
"So we are going to......" The 2nd man didn't complete his sentence before he just laid down on the floor unconscious
The three of them just looked at him with silence for like a minute
"He'll be fine right?" Devon asked still looking at him
"Uhh yes I think" the 1st man spoke
"I think you guys should leave cause your turn is coming" Devon said referring to the 1st man
"Uh okay.... Goodnight" He said and they Dragged the 2nd man and left.
"Des" Devon said as he layed down and slept
