Over the next couple days, Danny spent hours with Drew, trying desperately to help piece his online career back together. They'd done enough research to eventually discover the culprit behind the falsified screenshots- a young lad from Arizona; forlorn and frantic for attention. Apparently, he'd spent all his money on a MoonPod after seeing Drew purchase the overpriced beanbag in a video, and was out to get his just desserts.

They decided together to forgive him and move on.

Drew's presence began to launch back into stardom- his métier restored, all thanks to the help of his best friend's ceaseless determination.

On the night before Drew's scheduled flight home, the pair was enjoying an iced La Croix in Danny's office, splitting one another's sides with clever jokes and infectious laughter.

"She looked like you in a bikini!" Drew quipped.

Danny flashed him a seductive smirk, "How would you know?" And proceeded to titter at the mental image that followed.

"Just an educated guess," he countered. "But it wouldn't hurt to find out."

The two gazed into one another's eyes for a moment while silence took its seat between them. Danny instinctively rubbed the back of his neck. Tension seeped from every corner of the room.

He was the first to break the peace.

"Hey, Drew..." He trailed off.

"Why'd you and Amanda break up?"

Everything stood still.

Drew could feel every ounce of courage he had stored away in the past years boil up to the surface; releasing itself in one great wave of fearlessness dynamism. Hard-headed determination made him spontaneous- vigorous emotions reared themselves forward like a ferocious steed bursting from his heart and he did what he'd been waiting to do for so long.

Their mouths embraced in fiery ecstasy. arms intertwining- fingers running through hair and valor pumping through their veins. The bond they'd so delicately nurtured over the past years tore out of it's shell, flourishing to it's full villosity in an instant. They were a congealed twine of blazing tenacity and zero regrets.

As irrational as it all appeared, everything about them made complete sense in an instant- every unspoken thought suddenly had its own voice and an esurient hunger which demanded every hesitation be devoured by deathless lust; a bilateral worship of devotion accelerating itself between the two with no intention of ending...

He was his. They were theirs.

Their story is forever ours.
