Snow day!

Request: You're in a polyamorous relationship with Malcolm and Dani and the three of you are stuck at home after a big snow storm hits the city. This also takes place in Malcolm's apartment.

Your P.O.V.

I wake up to the feeling of someone's arms wrapped around my waist. I open my eyes and look in front of me to see Mal, sleeping peacefully, and I realize it's not his arms around me. I gently turn around to see Dani, also sleeping peacefully. I turn back over and smile to myself, happy to have these two in my life.

I close my eyes again and just relax into the bed. Im laying there, when suddenly a pair of warm lips touch my forehead gently. I hum in approval before opening my eyes again to see Mal looking at me with a small smile on his face.

M: Good morning beautiful.

He says in his raspy morning voice.

Y: Morning handsome. Have a good sleep?
M: yes actually, but I don't want to get out of bed.

I laugh lightly.

Y: I feel ya there, but we should get up. Let Dani sleep a bit longer, she had some trouble falling asleep.

M: Ahh.

He slowly gets off the bed before I slowly sneak my way out of Dani's arms. I get up off the bed and make my way to Mal before giving him a big hug. He kisses me on the head and gives me a tight squeeze before we pull away. He makes his to the kitchen to, I assume, make us breakfast. And I head over to the big window a few feet away from the bed.

Y: Holy shit, it looks like a snowstorm hit the town over night! There's like 2 feet of snow everywhere!

I say loud enough for Malcolm to hear me, but to not wake Dani.

M: Oh yeah? Guess we're staying in for the day! Snow day! Woop Woop!

Malcolm does a little happy dance as he continues to make breakfast. I giggle as I make my way into the kitchen to make some coffee.

Dani's P.O.V.

Mmmm I smell coffee.

I open my eyes slowly and just lay in bed for a sec, before getting up and looking over at the kitchen, seeing Malcolm putting breakfast on plates and (y/n) sitting at the island drinking their coffee and watching Mal. I get up from the bed and make my way over to where (y/n/n) is sitting. I put my hand on their back before leaning down and kissing their head. They hum before saying "good morning".

D: Morning Hun, how are ya?
Y: Good how are you? How'd you sleep?
D: I'm good, I slept alright. And how are you Mal?
M: Pretty good! Get to spend the day with my favorite people!

He smirks before he comes around the island with our breakfast. He sets the plates down in front of the stools, and him and I sit down on either side of (y/n).

We three sit and eat and drink our coffees while also having small chat about work or the weather outside. Once we're done we put our plates and cups in the sink before we head to the couch. We decide to watch a movie and snuggle under a blanket.

After the movie is over, we just sit staring at the screen, not knowing what we should do next when (y/n) speaks up.

Y: Hey! How about we go outside and play in the snow?
D: Um, sure why not?
M: sounds good to me! Let's get ready!

The three of us jump up from the couch and get our coats, hats, gloves, boots  and scarfs before heading out the door and down the stairs and out onto the street.

Malcolm's P.O.V.

We make our way down to the park. Dani and I are walking down, what is supposed to be the path but it's covered with a foot of snow, when I realize (y/n) isn't with us. I stop walking which causes Dani to stop as well.

D: Bright? What's wrong? You okay?
M: where's (y/n)?

She then scrunches her face in confusion as she then realizes (y/n/n) is in fact, nowhere to be seen.
I'm standing looking around to see if I can find them when all of a sudden.

M: Oof.

I get hit in the back by a snowball.

M: Hey! What the-?

I whip around and I see (y/n) standing there, giggling at my reaction.

M: Did you really just throw a snowball at me?

They suck their bottom lip into their mouth before nodding. I smirk before bending down,grabbing some snow, shaping a ball and then standing up and pretending to act like I'm gonna throw it at them when I quickly turn around and throw it at Dani. She gasps, gives me a death glare before she does the same, she makes a snowball before throwing it at me.

M: oh it's on you two.

We then start having a snowball fight amongst each other for a few minutes. I then get tired and decide to fall back into the soft snow. Laying in a star pose, I start to make a snow angel, when (y/n) and Dani join me on the ground and make snow angels themselves. We laugh before getting up and admiring our work.

We smile at each other.

Y: brrr, I'm starting to get cold, can we head back?
M: yes of course! And we could make some hot chocolate!
Y: yay! Sounds good to me!

We head back home, shedding off our coats, gloves, boots and scarfs before the girls head back to the couch to snuggle under the blanket, and I head to the kitchen to make the hot choco. I make the drinks with marshmallows and whipped cream before taking them to the couch and handing the two to them. They smile and say thank you before taking a sip. I then join them on the couch, turn on the TV and we watch (your fave show) and sip on our drinks, cozy in each other's company. I look over to  Dani and (y/n) and think

I am so lucky to have these two in my life
