We decided that Sosei would sleep on the couch, and I'd be... Sleeping with Ito again. I mean, it's fine, right? It doesn't mean anything, We just don't have a place for me to sleep. That doesn't mean that it's not uncomfortable, so I'm gonna expand the house.

After a hearty breakfast, we go to the adventurer's guild, and get Sosei signed up. Then I ask them a question.
"Are there any quests that are good for leveling up?"
The manager responds in kind.
"Well, Wolves give more EXP than Slimes, and they are rumored to drop Small EXP Crystals, which give 1000 EXP each."
If I can get so many slime residues, I can totally get these EXP Crystals.
"Alright, we'll take up the quest, where do we go?"
"Well, first take these. Don't worry, as this is your first time, It's on the Guild."
She hands us each a black crystal with the word "Hamazushi" written in red on it.
"These are Warp Crystals, when broken, they will teleport you to the location indicated on the crystal. These ones will bring you back to the guild."
"Alright, so how do we get there?"
"Like this! Teleport!"
Suddenly, a spell circle appears below us, and my vision goes white.
When it clears up, we're in the middle of the woods. It doesn't take long for us to find a couple wolves.
"Alright, let's be careful, Alright?"
"Of course, Hoshi."
Ito then disappears with the dagger, before quickly slitting both of the wolves throats. Blood shoots out like a waterfall from their necks, and they die in a shower of sparks, not unlike Slimes. After they die, I notice they dropped some things.
First, they dropped meat. Each dropped a chunk of meat that could be cut in half to make two steaks. I guess that's dinner.
However, one of them did drop a crystal, a green one.
Picking it up, I assess it.
[Item: Small EXP Crystal]
This is it. We got one. That was really fast.
"Do you three mind if I use this?"
"Not at all."
"Nope!"
"Go ahead!
The three of them unanimously agree I should use it, so here goes...
[Level up!]
