Egypt alarm rang loud through her room. She woke up and tapped dismiss on her phone and got to start her day. She did her morning hygiene routine and her makeup. She saw the time and it was 7:30 she was on time. Egypt ate a little breakfast and left out the door.
Egypt drove to her university campus (UIC; University of Illinois Chicago). A lot of people asked Egypt why not live on campus but her parents thought it would be better for her to still live at home. Seeing that she came a little too early, so she sat on one of the benches that's inside the lobby. Egypt was busy on her phone til she felt a tap on her shoulder; scaring her.
"Woah you just scared me." She saw that it was one of her friends Hendery.
"My bad." He laughed at her reaction.
"Since we have like 45 minutes, Do you wanna go to Starbucks?" Hendery asked.
"Of course. I definitely need an energy booster right now."
Mini time skip
They got their coffee and went back to the school and that's when both of them saw Kun writing in his notebook. He was clearly frustrated.
"What wrong Kun?" Hendery asked him.
"It's creative writing. This assignment is 7 pages long and I only got 5 pages."
"Well when is it due?" Egypt said.
"Next week Monday." He closed his notebook.
"That's probably enough time. Is that why you're mad?" Hendery said.
"No that's not the reason I'm mad. My younger cousin coming here today and he got to stay with me." Kun rubbed his temple.
"What's wrong with that?"
"Egypt you don't know this guy, he's TERRIBLE! Yea I have a close relationship with him but now I have to watch him like he's a kid, but I have to because he always gets into trouble." Kun was more than frustrated. Poor Kun.
"Well...just think positive about it." Egypt rubbed Kun's head to console him. They all went back inside the building going to their classes.
