As Kun was cooking dinner, Egypt was making herself feel at home. She was in Yangyang's room putting her things where they could go. Yangyang was helping Egypt by putting her objects on the table that was within the room. He pulled out the Patrick toy and he smiled at it.
"I see you still have this." Yangyang lifted the toy in Egypt's view.
"Yes I couldn't forget that." Egypt smiled.
"Well since you live with us now, I have something special to tell you." Egypt sat on Yangyang's lap.
"What is it?"
"It's kinda good that you're staying with us now because my mom wanted to meet you."
"Really?" Egypt eyes widened.
"Yes, She coming over tomorrow. Are you nervous?"
"A little bit."
"Don't worry, she's nice. I told her about you and she can't wait to meet you. She'll love you." Yangyang rubbed her thighs.
"What time she's gonna be here?"
"In the afternoon, around 1:30pm. She's staying for the weekend, that's enough time for you two to get to know each other."
"I guess. It won't be that bad right?"
"Dinner's ready!" Kun yelled from downstairs. Egypt got up from his lap and they both went downstairs to eat. After everyone had ate dinner, it was time to go to sleep.
"It feels so nice being with you again." Yangyang held Egypt close to him.
"Me too." Egypt kissed his lips. She nuzzled her face into his chest and fell asleep.
Next Morning, Egypt was sleeping peacefully. She started to wake up when she heard voices coming from downstairs. Egypt opened her eyes and remembered that she's in Kun's house. she looked at the time and it was 11:30. She also remembered that Yangyang's mother was visiting. The fact that the woman was already here, Egypt didn't have time to look presentable. She heard footsteps coming near the room and closed her eyes and pretended that she was sleep.
"Aww they are so cute." She heard the lady squeal. His mom shook Yangyang's arm to wake him up. Yangyang slowly woke and he was shocked to see his mom this early.
"Oh my God, hey mom." Yangyang said tiredly but happy to see his mom.
"Hey baby." She ruffled his hair.
"Is that her?" His mom pointed to Egypt. Yangyang smiled at Egypt and rubbed her back.
"Yes mom, this is her." Yangyang blush more.
"Get her up, I want to meet her."
"Ok give us 20 minuets." His mom left the room and closed the door. Yangyang looked at Egypt and chuckled.
"You're not sleep." Yangyang slapped her butt and she flinched.
"Bold of you to assume I wasn't."
"Well we have to get ready." They both got up from the bed. They took a quick shower, brushed their teeth, and put on some clothing and they headed downstairs. As they walked downstairs, they smelled food.
"We're here." Yangyang said as they made their grand entrance in the kitchen. His mom nearly ran to Egypt.
"Gosh, you are so pretty." His mom said as she held Egypt's hands.
"Thank you." Egypt smiled at the compliment. Everybody went to go sit at the table. They started to eat.
"So!" Yangyang's mom said out of the blue, startling everyone at the table.
"What do you do?" Mrs. Liu asked Egypt.
"I'm a college student. I go to UIC."
"So we have a scholar on our hands. What's your major?"
"Mom, you're interrogating her."
"I'm not, I just want to get to know her."
"I'm studying journalism. I want to be a news reporter."
"You have the voice for it. Can't wait to see you on the news." She then turned her attention to Kun.
"How's Yangyang been doing?" Mrs. Liu asked while eating her food. Kun looked at him.
"He's been out of trouble." Kun technically lied. Yea Yangyang been out of trouble, but not in zero trouble.
"I'm also making sure he's filling out job applications, Ten told me that he can get him a spot at his job."
"Is that so?" Mrs. Liu looked at Yangyang and he nodded.
"But you can also say that Egypt was apart of the help of him. Ever since they met, Yangyang hasn't been reckless. It's like Yangyang came to his senses."
"So you're a good influence on my son. She's a keeper." Mrs. Liu said. They soon got done eating their food.
"I have to finish up some homework. I'll come back later." Egypt went upstairs to Yangyang's room.
"She's a nice girl. Is it me or does she seems distant? Did I do something?" Mrs. Liu asked Kun and Yangyang.
"It's not you mom you did nothing."
"She's pretty overwhelmed right now and she had a long day yesterday and she probably not in the right state of mind."
"If she feel like that then why are you here? You supposed to be comforting her." She said pointing to Yangyang. He got what she was saying and went upstairs where Egypt was.
"What happened to her?" Mrs. Liu asked Kun.
"I feel like you should ask her. I don't wanna tell her business."
"Is it a sensitive issue?" Kun nodded his head.
"She'll probably tell you, she's not really the type who don't talk about their feelings." Mrs. Liu simply nodded her head understanding the situation.
