Egypt was sitting down beside the bed on her computer. She was doing nothing in particular, just basically looking at the plain screen. Yangyang came in and went to sit next to her.
"Are you alright?" Yangyang said.
"Yea I'm ok it's just a lot to take in right now. Me living with you and Kun is still new to me. Don't worry about it, it's nothing."
"You sure? I'm here if you want to talk."
"I'm sure, it's ok." Egypt said. She put her laptop on the bed and crawled on his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and her face in the crook of his neck.
"I'm happy to be here with you." Egypt said. Yangyang wrapped his arms around her waist and held her tightly.
"I'm glad you're here too. We don't have to sneak around no more." They laughed. They sat there embracing each other.
"My mom wants to spend time with you."
"I don't mind. She seems like a nice lady. I hope I didn't come off too distant or anything."
"Don't worry about it, she's not mad or anything. She's just curious." Egypt thought to herself, hoping that she wasn't giving off a bad impression to Mrs. Liu.
"Maybe if you two be alone with each other and have one on one talk." Yangyang was cut of by the door opening.
"Yangyang we have to go to the store." Kun said.
"Why can't you and mom go?"
"Because she asked us to go, she wants to go. She making her special dinner that we like tonight and she want us to go get the ingredients."
"Fine give me five minuets." Kun left out the room.
"Well speak of the devil. Looks like this is an opportunity for you to talk." They stood up from the floor and Yangyang went to get his jacket from his closet. They both left out the room to meet up with Kun, who was standing by the door. After they walked out the house and she locked the door. She walked to the kitchen and saw Mrs. Liu washing the few dishes that was in the sink.
"You don't have to wash those." Egypt said to Mrs. Liu. Especially since she was a guest for the weekend.
"Don't worry about it, I wanted to." Egypt sat at the counter across from Mrs. Liu.
"Kun told me you had a lot going on with yourself." Mrs. Liu said.
"You want the full unfiltered version or the short filtered version?" Mrs. Liu laughed as she went to put the last dish in the dishrack. She also took her seat across from Egypt.
"Whatever makes you feel comfortable."
"Where do I start...How can I say this... It somewhat happened when Yangyang came." Mrs. Liu simply nodded her head.
"I wouldn't say he started it all but...I have strict parents and I wasn't allowed to date. Me and Yangyang secretly started to see each other." Egypt told Mrs. Liu pretty much everything. She lowkey felt some sympathy for Egypt.
"Yesterday my mom found out that I was pregnant and I had an abortion. Then she kicked me out but Kun said I can live here with him and Yangyang. I'm not mad or anything, it's just been on my mind for the past hours. Hope I didn't come off as rude." Mrs. Liu put her hands on Egypt's hands.
"Don't worry, It's ok. We all go through something and at the same time, you remind me of myself when I was younger."
"Really?"
"Yes. Well my parents wasn't strict but they didn't approve the relationship. Then they forbid us to see each other again. We started to sneak around then next thing we knew is that I was pregnant. Parents told me to get rid of it or leave. So I left. I stayed with my boyfriend til we got on our feet. We got our own place and got settled. Then months later, out came Yangyang." Egypt was shocked indeed. Egypt felt some type of way. More on a level that she could relate to.
"And another thing. I know it's gonna be hard when your Parents don't support you let alone kick you out, but also look at the positives. You have Yangyang who loves you, and you also have Kun who's care about you too. I'm sure everything gonna be alright from here. Trust me." Mrs. Liu walked around to Egypt and gave her a tight motherly hug. Egypt was Due for one right now.
"Thank you, Mrs. Liu." Egypt said as she hugged her back.
"Don't worry about it. And call me mom."
"Ok...mom."
