AN - I am so sorry I've been so absent, I've had a really stressful assessment schedule and yeah. Anyway, comments always appreciated!
Nat's POV:
After everything that's happened, we decide to go to the therapist that Tony suggested. James put his arm around me when he saw how uncomfortable I was. Peter was looking innocently around the room. I saw Wanda was making things float around, and she was braiding the end of her hair until strands fell out. The therapist took note of it and Pietro made the first move.
"How does this work, do you ask the questions or do we just act as normal?"
"I can ask a few questions if you want. Okay, so Natasha, why don't we start with you. How do you feel about the whole Wanda running away thing?" My breath hitched and Wanda whimpered. James pulled me into his arms more and I struggled to not cry.
"Um, I remember feeling an unbelievable amount of pain, it felt like when I had Yelena ripped from me in the red room. It was one of the worst pains I've ever felt."
"Okay, Bucky, how about you, how did you feel?"
"It was awful. My daughter left me, and I didn't even see any of the signs. I remember complete, and total emptiness. She left with no explanation, and I didn't even see any of the signs." He reached for a tissue, and I look over at him, surprised to see tears.
"Oh Jamie." I rubbed his back while he tried to regain composure.
"I thought, that I was doing you soo a favour, because you had already sacrificed so much for me, you'd want a more stable family, which I'm not."
"Wanda love, it doesn't matter what happens, you'll always be our daughter, and you don't have to worry about any of that. You're stuck with us Wands." She smiled and James had calmed down by now. I kind of zoned out for some of the session, and I think she noticed.
"Natasha and Bucky would you mind staying behind for - few minutes?" She seems really nice I just don't know if I trust her. The kids leave, and James and I stay behind. I was standing really close to James and he put his arm around me tightly, squeezing the side of my waist.
"Natasha, have you ever thought about being diagnosed with BPD?" I was surprised.
"Borderline-"
"Personality disorder yeah my sister has it. Not biological just, yeah you get it. What makes you think that I might have it?"
"Oh, just from what you've all described, it sounds a lot like that. I can't diagnose you unless we have a session, without the kids, yes Bucky can come before you ask. But I think you should get it sorted out quickly so we can maybe get you medicated." James nodded and said thank you, and guided me out of the room. We were home and I must've have blacked out in the car as I was in my room.
"I need to talk to Clint." I knock on his door until he answers.
"Tasha, what's the matter? Is everything okay?"
"Did I wake you up?"
"It doesn't matter. What's up Tash?" He guides me in and Laura puts a mug of hot chocolate in my hands. I unload everything the therapist said and Clint was surprisingly helpful.
"Okay, Tasha, would you feel comfortable seeing her one on one? I mean obviously Bucky could be there, but have you ever thought about going to her like alone?"
"I did like 5 or 6 years ago when I got my script for, you know, but Tony and Bruce have them for me so I haven't needed to see her since, and I don't really want to you know, that's like, admitting that somethings wrong with me."
"Tasha, you can't control a mental illness. Just like I can't control being deaf."
"I don't wanna see a psychologist."
"If you really don't, then we can talk to Bruce and he could probably diagnose you. But if you do, then you have to go and see her." I face plant against the couch and Laura came up next to me. She stroked my hair softly, and gave me the the traitor baby.
"Hey little guy." He made a noise and he fell asleep. Clint breathed out in relief, and he sunk down against the couch. Laura sat down next to me, and I leaned back against her, like I would my older sister. She lightly kissed my forehead and I groaned. I didn't notice she was asleep until she stopped stroking my hair, and even then she was still doing it in her sleep. We all fell asleep like that, and Lila must've come out and taken the little traitor out of my hands while I slept. I woke up to Clint lightly shaking me awake.
"Hey sweetheart, we're gonna get some dinner, are you staying here or going back home love?"
"I think I might go home, Jamie's a good cook, but he'll make the mistake of letting the kids cook, which will be a disaster. Thank you two so so much. I don't know what I would do without you." Laura smiled while Clint rolled his eyes.
"Yeah yeah, you love us. We get it. Love you Tasha." I went back home and James was making dinner, and he pulled me close to him.
"Hey babe. Is everything okay?" I nodded and he lightly kissed the side of my neck. I smiled and I helped him cook, and he was guiding my hands around.
"Ew. You two are gross." Pietro had come out and Wanda hit the back of his head. I pulled out of James' arms and Pietro seemed really sorry.
"I think I'm gonna make the appointment." After dinner the kids were all in bed, and James and I were in bed, talking.
"I'm proud of you Talia." I smiled and he stroked through my hair lovingly.
"Really? But it took me so long to make the decision."
"So? I'm still super duper proud of you love." I laid down further and he made sure that I was okay.
"Goodnight Jamie. I love you."
"Night Talia. Love you too."
Bucky's POV:
She's gonna hate me.
