"With You" - Park Jimin & Ha Sung Woon

We promised each other that we'll stay together until the last day of our lives. I guess the last day of her life has come. I told her I'd be with her no matter what happens but I'm worthless.

Young-ok was a strong, delightful girl. I don't know how this happen all of a sudden. She's is in 4th stage of Aurtic Valve Disease. Medicine won't work at this point. And there's only 2 options: to do heart replacement surgery or to wait for her last breath.

How ridiculous I'm! All the time she was with me. How couldn't I understand that she was dying deep inside?! I'm truly a trash can.

Young-ok's father was right. I'm a trash can. I'm incapable of doing everything. I can't make her daughter happy. Young-ok always told me not to mind his words. But he proves right.

Young-ok and I fled from our families and set up our own world alone in a small town. I challenged her father that I'd make Young-ok much happier than anyone. She was the beloved daughter of her parents and it's normal that it'd be hard for her to adjust in a poor life which I can afford. But she managed to give a satisfied smile. I really thought after all misery I'm able to make her pleased. But plastered fake stuffs don't long last.

And it's come to an end. For this operation, a huge capital is required. I could barely pay for our living, how can I afford the cost. I have gone everywhere to earn some penny. Asked everyone for help. But everything I do still it's impossible for me to collect even the hospital bill.

At the end, I had to stand before her father. He started to insult for showing him my face but when I told him about Young-ok's condition, he stopped. He lost words to say anything. He got completely silent. His red-angry eyes turned teary. He fell on his knee. After all he is her father. He didn't want me as his son-in-law cause of her. He knew I'm not worthy to get his daughter. We didn't listen to him and did what we want. We can go against his will but God also don't want us to be our eachother.

Only 3 days are left for her operation. I can now afford the cost of operation bills and some necessary medicine. But I still can't manage capital to afford a heart. He father also contribute as much he could. He sold his properties in seek of her life. He might love her daughter but he is also not that rich to afford this huge cost. But for him at least I have the money to pay hospital bill. But without a heart how there'd be a heart replacement operation? Though i guess there's an alternative.

20 hours before the operation

" Young-ok, you'll be alright. I managed everything for you."
" I know you have managed all necessaries. But I'm not a little girl that I won't understand this is an expensive operation. I just want to know how ha-....."
"Shh!" I stopped her by putting my finger on her lips.
"I wanna be with you, thats it."
" This illogical. I know your condition. It's impossible for you-"
"Ahhh! Calm down. It's not good for you. I have managed through my own ways. I'll explain everything later. You have to think about the operation now. Make yourself prepared. Okay?"
"Okay. But.."
"What?!"
" I'm little bit scare."
" Aish! Don't worry. I'm with you. I'll be with you."
"I love you."
"I love you,too. Only you can take my heart."

After the operation

Young-ok gets her sense. Young-ok slowly opens her eyes. But she can't open it wide. She realises that there's a man sitting beside her. She thinks it might be Jeong. She tries her best to say something but ultimately she fails. After a while, she can open her eyes wider and sees that man is her father. She tries to get up and approach him. But she feels so weak. After a while she gets some strength to talk. She says, "Dad!"
Her father startles. Then he looks at Young-ok and gets close to her.
"How are you feeling now?"
"I'm okay. How do you know about me?"
" Jeong came to me then he informed about your condition."
Suddenly Young-ok remembered about Jeong.
"Dad, where's he?"

"Oh! He wants to pharmacy."

Young-ok releases a deep breath. Thank god that it isn't like what she thought.

Flashback

Jeong have a doctor friend who got suspended. He wants to him for seeking some help.
"Huh?! It's too bad."
"You had just started your life. What mess all of sudden!."
Jeong was sitting with his friend in his illegal clinic. His friend's brother was also there. They were drinking Beer.
"So, I'm here to ask you for some help."
"Now here you come to the point. You also know my condition and I also know yours. How do you think I can help you? I don't have any job."
"But you run this illegal clinic. You must have some connection where I can bought heart in low rate."
"Come on dude! You are talking about heart not a stuff that you can do bargaining or would get 50% offer." His friend's brother says with a laughter.
"Don't you have any sympathy? Why are you laughing?"
"You are a foolish that's why I'm laughing." Again laughs.
The sounds of laughter feels like a hellish music to Jeong. But that man keep laughing at him. Jeong can't take it and grab the bottle of Beer and broke the bottle on the man's head.
The environment got silent for a moment. His friend takes some time to proceed what just happened.
"JEONG! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE! HOW DARE YOU IDIOT! HE IS MY BROTHER."
His friend grabs his collar ferociously.
"Leave my collar. I know he's not your real brother and you want him to die anyway to get all his property by your name."
He leaves his collar but still he's confused.
" Are you sure?"
"Why not?!"
"All you have to do is manage his heart for me."
"What if it doesn't match?"
"It's on me"
"And his missing?"
"You needed to set up a plan for that. But you have to prepare my thing for me. Can't you?" Jeong smirks.
"Sure. Why not?" His friend nervously replied.

Young-ok thinks that Jeong is safe. But maybe he's in a big trap.
