The semifinals were getting closer and closer. Even minutes before the first round started, Free was nowhere to be found. Algería tried not to freak out by looking for him everywhere. She also had to be there for Lui. He noticed the tension of his best friend, which made him a little freaking out. "Can you stop running up and down mumbling to yourself all the time?!" Algería jumped a little when Lui's loud voice was heard. "Sorry...I didn't mean to distract you" Lui took Luinor and put him away. "But you did." He walked towards the door of the training room. "Good luck" "Since when do I need something like luck?" "Don't always complain when I'm nice to you" "I know you're worried, but it really doesn't need to! Nothing will happen to Luinor" The girl nodded and Lui left the room. "But take care anyway..." Algería also left the room to get to the stands. She sat down next to Honcho and the others and soon the first round of the semifinals began.
Lui vs Shu.
The first battle was fierce. Luinor was on the offensive as usual, while Spryzen was in the center, who absorbed the attacks to land a counterattack and knock Luinor out of the arena.
In the second battle, Lui started with his Nightmare Boost. Unlike the first battle, this time Luinor was able to hit Spryzen and with a Dragon Crash, Spryzen was burst.
Since the semi-final was played to three points, it went into the third battle.
"3,2,1 Let it rip" Spryzen was in his attack mode and his heavy hits started triggering the Dragon Crash. "You know your job! Attack with the Dragon Crash!" Luinor attacked. "Counterattack! Requiem Whip" Their beys hit each other. The impact was violent and Luinor flew into the air. "Now crush him!" Spryzen attacked again and didn't let Luinor get to the ground anymore. They met again and Luinor was burst. However, Spryzen had hit him hard at his Energy Layer, which eventually shattered. "Spryzen Requiem with a Burst Finish. Red Eye wins by a score of 3 to 2"
"Luinor...oh no..."
Lui knelt on the ground and picked up the broken pieces of his bey. "You fought bravely to the end. I'm proud of you" "Was that really all?" Lui looked up. "What?!" "Ridiculous. You and your bey really weren't worth it. You're a loser." Lui closed his hands around Luinor. "I forbid you to talk about Luinor like that! Next time you won't have any luck! I will take revenge for what you did to Luinor!" Red Eye said no more and just walked away.
Algería had stood up and was walking down to the Blader waiting area. Arriving downstairs, she found Lui leaning against a wall. His look at the parts of his bey. "Luinor got destroyed..." Lui looked up and looked at Algería. "It'll be fine" "Don't act like I'm howling like a baby" Algería looked at him and smiled. "You're going to get Luinor back, aren't you?" "Luinor is everything to me" Algería spluttered her cheeks but then laughed. "I can't wait to fight the new Luinor" "Hah, keep training then, otherwise the battles won't last long" Lui closed his hand and started walking. "Now go back. He needs you." Algería looked after him questionably before realizing that Valt and Free's fight was about to begin.
Back at the stands, fight number 2 in the semifinals began.
Free against Valt.
Free didn't waste any time and even before the first battle began he unleashed his power, bulging his veins and making his eyes glow.
"...Free...Why are you doing this...?"
As quickly as the first battle began, it ended just as quickly. Valtryek couldn't withstand Fafnir's Nothing Break and smashed on the edge.
