HALEY'S POV
"What are you lookin' at? You think its funny huh"drake blurted.He looks hillarious inside his shiny frog costume.Everyone's trying not to laugh but w just cant.
Few minutes left and the program will start soon im getting nervous especially ghat kendrick isn't around yet.what if he's not going to show up?.
"Kimberly and drake,you'll be the first one to perform to be folowed by kiel-xavier,haley and kendrick" one of the organizer said
"But kendrick is not yet around"drake said.
"We cant delay the program everyone is waiting .im sorry but if he will noy show up ms.watson have to perform alone. We cant allow dead air on the event! Thats just a no no!" Ms. Monique Lee said
Where the hell is he?
"Ms.Lim and Mr.white its your time to perform "the organizer called out. I kiss kimmy goodluck before she went out on the stage. Im getting more nervous. I tried calling him countless times but he just didnt pick up his phone.i heard the crowd cheering once more.drake and kimmy were probably done with their performance.Xavier and kiel mad their way towards the stage looking so handsome on their alladin and genie costumes with their guitars.
Lights dimmed and single spotlights shines at me right here on the center stage.my hands gets sweaty as i hold my violin. My feet statts to tremble much more.
I was standing there for few minutes then finally someone gave me signal to start.all eyes were darting over me waiting,expecting a good show.
I started to get teary eyed at that verh moment i found myself onthe floor with both of my kness in the ground i cant do this alone. My friend who were watching started ti get worried while others were simply waiting on whats going to happen next.
KENDRICK'S POV
"Kendrick may i have a second with you?" Sydney said as i went out of my car.
"Ok fine what do you need?"i said
"Im sorry!"she started yo cry.Damn it i hate seeing girls cry.
"Is that all you have to say?"i replied.i dont know how did i still manage to be calm.
"Im sorry,i dont want to sugar coat myself of all my mistakes. But im really sorry.im sorry for everything.im sorry for leaving!" She cried!
"I just wanted to ask you something?and i wanted you to answer me with all honesty sydney"i said and she gave me a nod in reply
"Did you really loved me?"brevely i asked.
"Yes i do kendrick.Your my first love but im really sorry i fell out of it. I know its to much to ask for forgiveness.i will never be trully happy until you forgive me"she cried.
I hug her for the last time.
"I understand everything now syd! Atleast i know that what we had back then was true.its not you who left!it is love that left us.I forgive you sydney!"i said and kiss her forehead before finally letting go and started walking away!"
It felt really good to be free from all yhe bitterness.at last we had the clossure that we should have given each other for long time.
"Live your life and dont be afraid to love kendrick!" She said said but enough for me to hear.
Yes! I will.i said to my self as i hold the small box inside my pocket
I look back at her and she gave me her innocent smile. That smile that once belonged to me. In this life we have to learn how to be mature enough not to forget but to accept things. It's not wrong to look back sometimes as long as we keep on walking.
Now its time for me to fine my own happiness.
HALEY'S POV
I was about to storm out of the stage when someone kneeled in front of meand hold my hands.
"Im sorry i hope im not to late" he sincerly said
Before i knew it i felt a cold string on my neck.
"Its beautiful it fits you perfectly"he said and finally help me stand up and together we face the audience.
He started strumming his guitar in the rhythm of pachelbels canon D.
The stage became alive with those dancing light around plus.
Kendrick look at me in the eye thats my signal to play along with my violin.He's like a real prince in his all while outfit with blue linnings and yellow tassle on his shoulder.He looks devilishly handsome.
We bowed dow as we end our performance.i was surprise when kendrick gave me a hug suddenly km trembling all over again and i can eveb hear my heartbeats goes louder and louder i know its not the same nervousness i felt a while ago. I know this is diffrent it felt so right but i know this is just so wrong.
The crowds went wild and gave us a standing ovation for our performance.
