Chapter 15_The Varsity

GREYSON'S POV

I saw haley with trixie and kimmy make their way to the bleachers they made a promise to cheer for me during the try out and im sure they are also here to watch bunny with their cheerleading routine

i wave at them before the referee could blow the whistle i was teamed with 4 other guys named, lyndon,drake, josh and and aAron

the coach told us that he'll be checking how we play as a team but he will also consider our potential individually.i dont usually show much of my ability everytime i play but this time it will be different i need to make a good impression especially haley is watching.the game is going well its like a head to head game

the other player on the other team were also great but i think they are not good with teamwork. They dont pass the ball to their teammates well its in favor on our side if they continue to act that way.luckily my team mates are also doing great especially Lyndon, thats his name as i remember but for some reason he always stare at those cheerio making him loose the ball for many times

its good that im great in rebounding their looseball give me chance to score higher. few seconds to go and the other team is on the lead for two points.I grab the ball, dribble it as fast  i move out of the line to find the perfect spot to shoot

then there it goes 3 point shot just in time.

we won!

it wasnt an easy game1

As for me the highest pointer of the game. I know i will make it to the team with out waiting for the result of the try out i ran towards the girls at bleachers

"im so proud of you grey, im sure you'll make it to the team" haley said as she congratulate me with a hug and there goes my heart it beats irregularly it felt like it was skipping a beat and jumping for so much joy it's all because of haley

KENDRICK'S POV

i was looking around the gym when i saw my cousin trixie with two other girls.why is trixie always with that girl of all the places why is she going to watch.
im sure her presence will bring me badluck again

"boys i'll group you into two group 1- greyson,lyndon,drake, josh and and aAron

and group 2- Troy, glen, paul, kendrick and Rio" the coach said
why do i have to be on the same team with Rio Lex!this is so awkward especially that sydney was only few inches from us.
she's watching from the left side of the gym same place were she always seat but this time he's not here to cheer for me

the referee's wistle only then i realized im spacing out i should put my head back into the game

too late the other team already got the ball and made the first shot then i guard the guy trying to stop him from making another point.i remember him this is the guy i saw with badluck girl in brooklyn and at the cemetery.he's maybe the reason why the badluck girl is here.he's a tough guy to play with he has great moves and agility

what will i do now i need to score i look at troy hoping that he's free so i could pass the ball to him 

yet he's well guarded  by drake, i look at paul and glen but then i hesitate to give them the ball

i give them the ball for many times but the ball end up sliping out from their hand giving the other team chance to score 

rio is the only available teammate to whom i could pass the ball

well i cant deny that rio is also good in basketball but theres no way that i will pass this ball to him.not to this cheater i'd rather score alone
