Pokémon The Champion Above Champions

Chapter 6

(Note: This is before the main series starts, so most characters will be younger.)

Having his usually still eyes widened in shock, Zenith stared at the figure standing in front of Riolu. The yellow Pokemon stood with jolts of electricity coming off its spiky body as Zapdos and Riolu both looked in surprise at the attack being stopped.

"Jolt!" The Pokemon exclaimed.

"Eevee...?" Zenith questioned awe struck.

The yellow Pokemon turned glancing back at him, nodding its head before turning back to Zapdos. Speaking of the legendary Pokemon it looked towards the chest seeing that it had been opened and its inside goods were missing.

Zapdos turned its attention back to the newly evolved Pokemon, it sneered as crackles of lightning swarmed around it; responding to the electricity, the yellow Pokemon emitted thunderous crackles of its own matching the same energy as Zapdos.

The two gave intense glares at one another, Zenith gazed upon them. Looking to Riolu who was still on the ground but seemed more shocked then even he was at the moment.

Zapdos vanished in a blur, surprising Zenith as the bird Pokemon then appeared right next to the newly evolved Eevee, who seemed not to have noticed yet that the bird Pokemon was in the midst of an attack.

But however, Zapdos missed its attack as the yellow Pokemon was no longer in its position. Zapdos' eyes widened in surprise, "Jolt!" At the sudden noise Zapdos looked behind to see the yellow Pokemon now standing behind it.

At a speed at which Zapdos couldn't even follow, the yellow Pokemon went and slammed right into Zapdos with volts around its body sending it crashing into the wall.

"So... Strong..." Zenith spoke out in amazement at how strong his friend has become compared to before.

Zapdos quickly removed itself from the wall, and glared at the small Pokemon. Rushing to the yellow Pokemon it used Peck, however vanishing in a flash of lightning Jolteon appeared above Zapdos.

What happened next Zenith could only describe as a total blur of lightning, a back and forth between two electric Pokemon. Zenith couldn't even follow the movements of lightning just barely being able to see the outlines of them.

Riolu almost like Zenith could barely keep up with their movements, but unlike Zenith he could at least keep up with the trails of lightning. Riolu couldn't help but feel... Frustrated.

Back to the battle, the newly evolved Eevee and Zapdos seemed to be at a stall mate with one another. However that didn't last for long, Zapdos was getting annoyed and started to flap it wings building up currents of wind.

"Huh?" Zenith feeling the change in the air current and looked up. 

Zapdos was creating a large tornado, it was using Hurricane! The move quickly swept up the newly evolved Eevee, it didn't take long for Riolu and Zenith to be caught up by the twister as well.

The three were unable to escape, the twister was just to powerful for them to do anything. Zenith soon grabbed ahold of both his Pokemon, he held them both tight as they were soon shot out from the twister and towards the wall.

Zenith instantly felt the pain shot through his body, as he felt himself start to lose consciousness.

Soon everything went dark.

Slowly his eyes started to see some light, his gaze met with the shining moon. He turned his sights to else where, looking at his surroundings. He was in the woods, he wasn't in the carven anymore; he was on what seemed like a sleeping bag.
