Chapter Seven

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It has been a few weeks since Remus has told me about his condition and Christmas has finally come around and I wandered the Castle looking for Remus until I bumped into James, “do you know where Remus is?” I asked him, “he’s in our dorm. Full Moon is coming up soon.” he told me and I went to their dorm to see Remus lying in bed, “how are you feeling?” I asked him as I sat on the edge of the bed, “could be better.” he told me and I smiled a little, “well, you know you can always write to me whenever you want. I think James and I are going home for the Holidays.” I told him and he nodded, “will you be alright here?” I asked him, “I’ll be fine. I think Sirius will be staying here over the Holidays so I’ll have someone to be there.” he told me, “that’s good to hear. Like I said, you can always write if you want.” I told him and he smiled a little and I made sure he was going to be alright before I left the dorm so that he could rest and I went to mine to pack what I needed for when we leave for the Holidays and once I was done and made sure I had everything, both James and I had left along with everyone else who was going home for the Holidays and throughout the entire Train Ride home, I couldn’t help but worry a little for Remus and hearing James had brought me out of my thoughts, “everything alright Rosie?” he asked me and I sighed a little, “yeah, I’m fine. Just worried about Remus.” I told him, “he’ll be fine Rosie. Sirius will be there so he’s not completely alone.” he told me and I nodded, “I know, but still. You never know what will happen.” I told him until we eventually made it to London and we, along with everyone else had started getting off the train and eventually met up with mum and dad and went home and throughout the entire time we were home, both James and I had a good time and had fun as we ran around in the snow outside as well and one night, the four of us had watched Christmas Movies and drank Hot Chocolate until James and I had fallen asleep in the middle of one of them and until I had completely fallen asleep, I felt someone pick me up and laid me down in bed and kiss my forehead, “goodnight Darling. Merry Christmas.” I heard dad say before he left the room.

The Holidays were over and everyone had eventually made it back to Hogwarts and I made it to my dorm and got everything organized and put away before finding Remus until I eventually found him in the Hospital Wing as he was sitting on the side of the bed, “how are you doing Remus?” I asked him as he stood up, “I’m alright. How was your Holiday?” he said to me as we eventually left the Hospital Wing, “it was good. I got you some more Chocolate and I also snuck some Hot Chocolate from Home before James and I left the house.” I said to Remus as I gave it to him, “thanks Rosie. I appreciate it.” he said and I smiled a little as the both of us continued to hang out for a while before James wanted to talk to me alone and once we got to somewhere private, he spoke up, “if you want to become an Animagus, we should start soon.” he told me, “shouldn’t we tell Dumbledore about it or something?” I asked him, “Sirius, Peter and I haven’t told him about us. We managed to do it without him knowing so far.” he told me and my eyes went wide, “isn’t that Illegal or something to be an Unregistered Animagus.” I told him and he shook his head, “not that I know of. You’ll be fine alright just as long as you don’t tell anyone besides us about it alright.” he told me and I nodded before we finally started the Process of becoming an Animagus. Once we managed to plan everything out, we agreed to do it all after classes were over and if it continued after the school year was over, we managed to try and continue at home with the help of Sirius if needed. After getting everything we needed to make it, we hid it somewhere that only James and I knew about until we headed to the Great Hall for dinner that night and once Dinner was over and everyone made it back to their Common Rooms for the night, I sat alone thinking about becoming an Animagus hoping that no one beside James, Remus, Peter and Sirius finds out about becoming an unregistered Animagus until I was brought out of my thoughts when I noticed Remus sitting in front of me, “everything alright Rosie?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah, I’m fine.” I told him and he nodded, “what were you and James talking about?” he asked me and I sighed a little, “we were thinking about doing something.” I told him not wanting to say much since I know what he would do if he found out, “what would that be exactly?” he asked me and I thought about it before speaking, “if I told you, you would talk me out of it.” I said to him and he furrowed his brows a little, “what’s that supposed to mean.” he said before realization spread across his face, “you’re becoming an Animagus aren’t you?” he asked me and I said nothing, “if it’s to help me, stop. I don’t want to hurt you in any way, it would kill me if I did.” he said to me, “I don’t care. I want to help you. It hurts me enough to see you suffer already.” I said to him before rushing off and made it to my dorm and began to cry a little until I cried too much as it caused me to fall asleep.

Remus’s P.O.V
After Rosie had rushed to her dorm, I sighed to myself as I continued to sit there before seeing James walk up to me, “what happened mate?” he asked me, “I found out what you guys were doing. I don’t want her to do it because of me.” I told him as he sat down in front of me, “look Remus, she cares about you a lot alright. She wants to be there for you as much as she can. I can tell that whatever she feels towards you is something more. She understands it all, Remus, so please give her a chance to help you.” James told me and I thought about what he said before nodding, “fine, but if she gets hurt in any way, I want her to stay away.” I told him and he nodded, “fine, but we both know she would say otherwise.” James told me and I knew he was right, “I know. But I just don’t want her to end up in the Hospital Wing because of me.” I told him, “I know mate.” he told me and the both of us talked for a while longer about it until the both of us had decided to go to bed for the night and once we had gotten into our dorm along with Peter and Sirius, the four of us talked for a while before my mind drifted off to Rosalie as I hoped that she was doing alright until I began to feel tired and drifted off to sleep for the night.

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It was another day and I was sitting in the Great Hall eating Breakfast as I began to think about the conversation I had with Remus the other day until I felt someone tap my shoulder and I looked to see that it was Lily along with Marlene, “everything alright Rosalie? You seem a bit down” Lily asked me and I nodded, “yeah, I’m fine Lily. just thinking.” I told her as she and Marlene sat with me and the three of us talked the entire time before we left the Great Hall for classes. Later that day, after classes were over and I have done my Homework, I decided to go to the Astronomy Tower for a while and I just sat there like I always did as I wanted to clear my head until I noticed someone sit down next to me and I knew that it was Remus and I looked over to see that it was him, “how are you doing?” he asked me and I sighed a little, “I'm doing alright. How about you?” I said to him, “I’m fine. I’m sorry about the other day, it’s just, I didn’t want you to get involved and get hurt.” he told me and I rested my hand over his, “it’s fine, I understand how you feel. I’d feel the same way if I were in your position.” I told him and he nodded and the both of us continued to talk for a while until we decided to leave for dinner and once we made it to the Great Hall, we sat with Sirius, James and Peter and talked as we ate with each other had a few laughs here and there and when the feast was over for the night, everyone left and made it back to the Gryffindor Common Room for the night and continued to hang out then before James and I started talking about the Potion to become an Animagus and that it was going well so far as we didn’t have much to do know that it was almost ready and after talking about it for a while, the both of us have decided to go to bed for the night as it was getting late and I was starting to get tired and once I got to my dorm for the night, I had gotten changed and finally went to bed thinking about Remus as I fell asleep that night.
