Book One: My Love Always

Chapter Twelve

Rosalie’s P.O.V
Winter had come around and Christmas was almost here and it was another Hogsmeade weekend and we all had gone to the Village and I decided to separate myself from the others and I told James that I would find them when I was done getting what I needed and I managed to go through a few of the shops looking around to find some things for everyone, especially Remus and once I got everything I needed for Christmas Presents, I went to find them and I eventually did and walked up to James and the others, “where did you run off to Love?” Remus asked me, “I went to get a few things for Christmas.” I told him as he tried looking through the bags, “don’t you dare mister. You won’t be finding out until Christmas. Got it.” I told him and he raised his hands in defense, “alright then.” he said and we all chuckled as we continued to walk around the Village until it was time for everyone to leave and once we finally made it back to the Castle, I went straight to my dorm once we made it to the Common Room and organized everything before I started wrapping it all and once I was done and put the names on everything, I hid it all and went back down to the Common Room and hung out with the others for a while longer and we had a few laughs together like we always did and later that night, I couldn’t sleep and I was sitting in the Common Room in front of the fireplace that still had a fire going until I felt someone sit down next to me and I looked to see that it was Remus and I rested my head on his shoulder, “couldn’t sleep?” he asked and I nodded, “yeah. You?” I asked him, “yeah. You look like you were thinking about something. What was it?” he said and I sighed a little, “thinking about what it would be like once we are both done here. I’ve also been thinking about what it would be like when I’m the only one out of the group that will still be attending for another year.” I said to him and felt him kiss the top of my head, “don’t worry love, I’m sure that everything will be alright. I’m also sure that next year will go by quickly as well love.” he said as he held me closer to him, “I guess you’re right. I don’t know why I’m worrying so much.” I said to him, “well, there is a war going on. So I don’t blame you if it’s because of that.” he said and I completely forgot about that, “I wonder when it will end.” I said to him, “who knows but let's hope that it’s soon.” he said and I looked up at him, “I love you.” I said to him before the both of us shared a kiss before we stayed on the couch for a while longer before the both of us decided to head to bed for the night and once my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

It was another day and it was now the day before Christmas and it was the last day of classes before the Holidays started and before classes started, we all gather in a group and began to exchange gifts from each other and talked for a bit before heading down to the Great Hall for breakfast before heading to class for the day. Once classes were over and everyone was doing their own thing, I had gone to my dorm and pack my trunk with what I needed before I made it back down stairs and did my homework with the others as we hung out and talked for a while as well and when the time came for everyone to leave for the Holidays, both Remus and I sat with each other along with James, Sirius and Peter, “where’s Lily?” I asked James, “she decided to stay at Hogwarts for the Holidays.” he said and I nodded as we continued talking throughout the rest of the train ride until we made it to London and both Remus and I kissed each other goodbye before going our separate ways and Sirius planned on staying with us for the Holidays as well and once we made it home, the three of us hung out the entire time and one day, we decided to play some Quidditch for a while until mum called us for dinner and we finished the game before heading inside and once we did and sat down at the table, we ate together and after eating, Sirius, James and myself continued to hang out for the rest of the night before we all had gotten tired and once we all had gone to bed for the night, I couldn’t sleep so I stayed up for a while thinking about Remus hoping that everything will be alright as worried about him throughout the night until I finally fell asleep that night and throughout the rest of the Holiday was spent thinking about Remus and hanging out with James and Sirius the entire time until the Christmas Holiday was over.

We finally made it back to Hogwarts and I looked around to find Remus until I found him at the Astronomy Tower and sat with him, “how was your Holiday?” I asked him and held his hand, “it was alright. How was yours?” he said, kissing my cheek, “it was good. I was worried about you though.” I told him, “I’m alright Rosie. You don’t have to worry about me. The transformation wasn’t too bad though.” he said and I sighed a little, “that’s good. Any new injuries?” I asked him, “only small scratches and a few bruises but other than that, nothing too serious.” he said and I smiled a little before kissing his cheek, “I’m glad.” I said to him as we stayed there for a while longer before the both of us had gone back to the Common Room for the rest of the day as we hung out with the others as well. Eventually, classes had started back up again and both Remus and I have spent most of our time in the Astronomy Tower after getting our Homework done and the both of us had just spent time alone together and had a few laughs before I started to feel tired and let out a yawn, “are you getting tired love?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah, a little bit.” I told him, “we should get back to the Common Room then.” he said and the both of us had gotten up and made our way back and by the time we had gotten back to the Common Room, we sat with the others as Sirius teased Remus and I before we all eventually had gone to bed for the night.

It was another day and Winter was almost over and another few months until school is done for the year and it was close to another Full Moon and James, Sirius, Peter and myself were making sure we know what to do if anything bad were to happen and once we were ready, we all went to the Shrieking Shack with Remus and waited with him and after a while, Remus pulled me away from the others, “Promise me that whatever happens, you stay back. I don’t want you to get hurt because of me.” he said to me and I kissed his Cheek, “don’t worry Remus, nothing will happen alright.” I said to him before he kissed my forehead before we went back to the others and James, Sirius, Peter and myself had gone outside and turned into our Animagus forms and waited until Remus turned as well and throughout the night, nothing much had happened as Remus tried to attack us as we ran through the forest. After the night was finally over and we were all back into our human selves and managed to get Remus to the Hospital Wing just in case and after Madam Pomfrey checked on him, she checked on the rest of us and put a few bandaids on us for the few scratches we had ourselves and since it was a weekend, I stayed with Remus the entire time as I managed to fall asleep in the chair that was beside him.

Remus’s P.O.V
After passing out from changing back into myself, I finally started waking up to see that I was in the Hospital Wing until my eyes landed on Rosalie as she was asleep in a chair next to me and I smiled and began to think to myself about how lucky I was that I had someone like her and I was glad that she stuck by me the entire time and I put my hand on her leg as it caused her to start waking up and look at me, “how are you feeling? Are you feeling alright?” she asked me with worry, “I’m fine Rosie. I’ll be alright. How are you feeling?” I said to her and she sighed a little before speaking up, “I’m alright. Just a few scratches but other than that, nothing too serious.” she told me and I smiled at her before she kissed my forehead causing me to close my eyes at the feeling of her touch, “I love you, more than anything.” she said to me before I brought her head down and kissed her lips, “I love you so much more.” I managed to say to her as our foreheads were pressed together and throughout the rest of the day, she stayed with me until Madam Pomfrey had let the both of us go for the day and left the Hospital Wing and made our way back to the Common Room and hung out with the others until we all had gone to the Great Hall for dinner and spent the rest of our night just hanging out and laughing together before we all had gone to bed for the night.
