Chapter Seventeen

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It was now the year 1980 and it was in the middle of August as both Lily and James recently had a son whom they’ve named Harry and both Remus and I have been there when Lily gave birth to him and when I met him and Held Harry, I noticed that he had Lily’s eyes and the both of them had sent me pictures of Harry since then and I was I was currently Nine Months Pregnant myself as I looked through those pictures until I began to feel a pain coming from my stomach and I slowly stood up before feeling something wet run down my legs and realized that my water broke, “Remus, come here. I think the baby is coming.” I shouted for him until he came rushing into the living room with the baby bag already over his shoulder, “let’s get you to St. Mungo’s he said and the both of us managed to leave the house. We eventually made it to the Hospital and one of the Healers managed to get us into a room and after a while, she wanted me to start pushing and so I did as Remus held my hand and stayed by my side throughout the entire thing until it was finally over, “congratulations, it’s a girl.” The Healer told us as she gave us our daughter and I smiled and cried as I held her, “she’s beautiful.” I said to Remus, “she’s beyond Beautiful. She’s gorgeous.” Remus said until the Healer spoke up again, “and in case either of you were wondering, your daughter does not have Lycanthropy.” she told us before walking away, “you hear that? She’s perfectly fine.” I told him before we talked about what we should name her until we finally thought of a name, “I think we should name you Edeline Fawn Lupin.” I said as I gently caressed our daughter’s cheek and after a while, mum, dad, James and Lily came around and Lily and James had brought Harry with them as well, “congratulations Rosie.” James said to me, before mum came over, “she’s beautiful darling. What did you name her?” she said, “Edeline Fawn Lupin.” I told her and I let her hold Edeline, “How’s Harry doing?” I asked James and Lily, “he’s doing well. He sleeps through most nights recently which is good.” Lily said and I smiled before the Healer came over to us, “if you don’t mind, we would like to keep your daughter overnight for evaluation just in case, if that’s alright with you Mr. and Mrs. Lupin.” she said and we both nodded, “that’s fine with us.” I told her as I wanted to make sure Edeline will be alright before we left the Hospital.

It had been about a day or so since I gave birth to Edeline and after many check ups, Edeline was in perfect health and both Remus and I were finally able to bring her home and once we did and walked through the door, we saw everyone there, “Welcome Home.” they all said and I smiled at the sight in front of me, “you guys are cute. I love it.” I said to them as the living room was decorated and throughout the day, everyone took turns holding Edeline as we all talked and hung out before I began to feel tired and mum had taken notice, “why don’t you go and take a nap dear, you look exhausted.” she told me, “alright mum.” I said to her before going over to Remus, “I’ll be in the other room, I’m getting tired.” I told him and he kissed the top of my head, “you do that love. You do look exhausted.” he said and I went to put Edeline into her crib before I had gone into mine and Remus’s room and as soon as I rested my head on the pillow, I soon fell asleep.

Remus’s P.O.V
After Rosalie had gone into the other room, everyone eventually left for the day and I went to go and put Edeline into her crib after feeding and changing her and once I had done that, I had gotten everything cleaned up and organized before I started making dinner for both Rosie and I and I began to think about what the Healer said about Edeline and it put a smile on my face to know that my daughter didn’t have to suffer to change every month like I do and that was everything I ever wanted and just as I finished cooking dinner, I began to hear Edeline start to cry and I went upstairs to check on her before seeing that Rosalie had beaten me to it and I smiled as I watched her with Edeline as she hummed something to her as it calmed the baby down until she turned and noticed me and smiled at me, “you both look beautiful.” I said to her and she giggled a little and I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around them and gently caressed Edeline’s cheek, “you both mean everything to me. I will do everything to protect the both of you now matter what happens to me. I mean every word.” I said to Rosalie, “and the same to you my love. I don’t know what I would do in a world without you. Without either of you.” she said to me as she turned to face me as our daughter was protected between us, “I made dinner by the way, we should both head back downstairs before it gets too cold.” I told her and she kissed me gently and the both of us had gone downstairs and brought Edeline with us and eventually started eating dinner and talked the entire time as I noticed Edeline moving around a lot and was being very vocal as it caused me to smile and throughout the rest of the night, we had eventually put Edeline to bed for the night and both Rosalie and I sent time together and eventually went to bed ourselves for the night as I held her close to me throughout the night.

Rosalie’s P.O.V
It has been a few months since I had given birth to Edeline and she was now Six Months Old and Remus had gotten a job at a local bookstore that was in town nearby and the both of us spent most of our time with Edeline as much as we can and I noticed that I needed to get a few things for the house and for Edeline and after getting both myself and Edeline ready to head out, we finally left and made it into town and got what we needed before decided go and visit Remus for a bit and once we got there, I noticed him putting a few books away before he turned and noticed us and smiled, “hello my darlings. What are you guys doing here?” he asked as he took Edeline and kissed her as he held her, “I needed to get a few things for her and the house and I thought It would be nice to pop in since we were in town.” I told him and he kissed me before someone got our attention, “you must be Rosalie and this little one must be Edeline. I’m Penelopy, Remus here has told me so much about you two.” she said to me as we shook hands, “nice to meet you.” I said and smiled and the three of us talked for a bit before I decided to let them get back to whatever they were doing before and headed home for the rest of the day and after I had fed Edeline, I noticed that she was getting sleepy and I finally put her down for her nap and once I had done that, I had gone to put the groceries away and once I was done, I cleaned up a little before relaxing for a little while before I began to hear Edeline and went to get her before bringing her into the living room along with some toys and played with her until Remus came home and once Edeline saw him, she got all excited and crawled over to him and he soon picked her up and she laughed as he kissed her, “I think she’s a daddy’s girl.” Remus said and I chuckled a little, “she always has been my love.” I told him, “why don’t you get changed and I will get dinner started alright.” I said to him and he kissed me before he left and I had gone to the kitchen and started dinner as I held Edeline until Remus came and took her for a while, while I cooked for us and once I was done, I had given Edeline a small portion since she was about to eat soft foods now and she managed to make a mess with it causing both Remus and I to laugh a little.

After eating dinner, both Remus and I managed to clean everything up after giving Edeline a bath and after putting her to bed for the night, both Remus and I just relaxed for a while before I decided to take a bath myself and got what I needed before heading to the bathroom and after getting undressed, I felt arms wrap Around me and I smiled and looked to see that it was Remus, “care to join me?” I asked him and giggled a little ashe kissed my neck, “I would love to.” he said and got undressed himself and the both of us had gotten into the tub and just relaxed there in the warm water and I sighed a little as he gently placed kisses along my neck and until i turned and straddled him, “I love you.” I said before kissing him and managed to make love in the bath and once the both of us had reached our climaxes and calmed down, the both of us had eventually gotten out of the tub and dried off before eventually heading to bed for the night and cuddled each other as we talked for a bit before the both of us had finally fallen asleep in each others arms that night.
